We did a 3 Day Kakadu Litchfield 4WD Camping Adventure with Autopia and can highly recommend it. It was a smaller group which made things really manageable and our tour guide, Boggie, was so knowledgeable and you could tell he loved his job and the areas we visited; and the guide makes a big difference. We visited many locations, learnt a lot, saw lots of wild life and swam in some magical places.
Everything went like clockwork - pickup was on time and the itinerary was terrific in every aspect. Our guide was “Boggie” who was very knowledgeable and delivered interesting commentary across many subjects. His knowledge of the area, its history and indigenous significance was evident and welcome. The camp set up was very comfortable and enjoyable. All the food provided was excellent and delicious. The vehicle used was also very comfortable and with Boggie at the wheel we were in safe hands. Everything promised was delivered. I would highly recommend this tour - we found it just the right duration and it ticked all of our boxes. I went with my wife.
We had the best time with Tim (our amazing Aussie trip guide) and the rest of the participants. We had never been to Kakadu, or Litchfield national park before but we had the best time swimming in waterfalls, learning about indigenous culture and painting, seeing stunning sunsets. We saw crocs, dingos, Jabarus, buffalo, wild pigs even, it was incredible. I have many food issues and Tim and the group were so accomodating. Loved Aussie Tim’s stories, knowledge, and expertise through the whole trip, ripper bloke and time away in the outback. Deb and Ben.
Just back from a fantastic Autopia 3 day tour of Kakadu & Lichfield. The tour exceeded our expectation and with the wonderful Boggie as our tour guide, we shared a truly magical experience with our fellow travellers. The overnight camp facilities were good and much fun was had preparing meals, which were all excellent. Boggie proved to be a bottomless mine of information about all things NT and Kakadu and we would thoroughly recommend this tour to one and all.
It was the most wonderful experience where our passionate guide Tim shared his abundant knowledge about the outback and various Indigenous knowledge over 3 days. The group was diverse in all the best ways and the food was plentiful. The swag experience is not for the weak but I survived, albeit with heaps of bites. Everyday was filled with unexpected surprises and I esp enjoyed the river cruise, the rock art and the rock pools.

We had a fantastic experience during our three-day, two-night tour of Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, which allowed us to fully enjoy the trip. This tour is highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the real Australian wilderness, away from the usual touristy day trips. Everything was very well organized and we saw amazing places. Our guide, Aussie Tim, was fantastic, not only at explaining so many interesting things about what we saw, but also at helping everyone get to know each other and come together as a group. Part of the tour involves travelling by bus, but it’s also nice to just sit back, relax, and watch the beautiful scenery go by outside the window. Plus, Tim is a great driver and has an awesome music playlist! Thanks to Tim, even preparing meals together at the campsite became a fun part of the experience. And the pasta Bolognese he made was good even by Italian standards 😆! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful, absolutely fantastic trip with Aussie Tim. He explained things so well, gave precise instructions, and introduced the group to each other right away. Everyone knew what to do, when to be where, and where we were absolutely not allowed to go (cliff edges, waterfall edges, ...). He explained the world of Lightning Man to us and brought us closer to Kakadu and Litchfield National Park. Thanks for the great tour! And sleeping in a swag was a great experience! The starry sky above us, mosquito bites included. My girlfriend slept in the tent and was just as happy (since she wanted a real bed), even without a starry sky. Anyone going on this tour should not forget the insect repellent. The times on the bus are long, but given the size of the country, it's not doable any other way. We had a lot of fun! Thank you. We would love to come back - and hopefully with Aussie Tim again!
