We just concluded our safari experience at Maasai Mara provided by Axis Africa and our incredible guide Kelvin. As our guide all the way from the center of Nairobi, Kelvin provided us with a once in a lifetime experience, taking us on a quick tour of Nairobi National Park and a visit to Sheldrick Wildlife Trust followed by a journey to Maasai Mara National Reserve and back. Kelvin was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, attentive, kind, and funny and really made this a trip to remember. We would be thrilled to have Kelvin as our guide again in the future and would recommend both him and Axis Africa to anyone looking for an amazing and genuine safari adventure. Thank you Kelvin!

Kelvin was the BEST Guide Ever!!
Our guide for five days was Kelvin Ngamia. Not only was he very personable & friendly, he was so very knowledgeable!! He was able to locate all of the wildlife we wanted to see & did it with such ease, you can tell he is very experienced. He also gave us a lot of very interesting information about each animal & the parks (we visited Nairobi NP, Sheldrick, & Maasai Mara). It truly made our safari experience as a family even better & we are so grateful we were matched with Kelvin. We will miss his friendly smile & demeanor! We definitely want to make it back someday & will absolutely choose Kelvin again!! Asante sana.

Perfect safari
I can certainly recommend this safari operator; they handled my custom-planned itinerary in both Kenya and Tanzania very professionally. A special thank to our tour guide, Charles, who was knowledgeable about the wildlife and very proactive in driving and spotting animals. We saw the entire "Big Five." Thank you for that!!!

Best experience with Simba
It was an exceptional experience with a wonderful guide, "Simba"! We spent 2 days in Masai Mara and 1 day in Amboseli and we saw thousands of animals! The guide Simba was really very, very kind; he explained everything to us and he was very accommodating! I really recommend him!

Unforgettable safari experience
We had a very smooth experience with Axis. The company was very professional and easy to communicate with via email and whatsapp. Our guide, John Mwangi was the best! He looked after us very well and went extra mile to ensure we got the best experience and got to see as much wildlife as possible. He was very friendly and informative too! Great experience
I had a fantastic experience with Axis Africa Expeditions and would highly recommend them. Everything was well organized from start to finish, but what really made the safari special was our guide, Ken.
Ken was excellent throughout the entire trip. He genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience and made a real effort to help us see as much wildlife as possible. He was patient, knowledgeable, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to find the animals and get us into the best positions to observe and photograph them.
You could really feel that he cared about making the safari memorable for everyone, rather than simply following a standard itinerary. Thanks to his effort, we managed to see an incredible amount of wildlife and had a wonderful experience in the Maasai Mara.

Superb experience with Axis Safari and Yasin: the best guide ever!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What an incredible few days with the best guide anyone could wish for. Yasin from Axix Safari’s was exceptional. Hugely knowledgeable and willing to impart information freely and also good fun with a super sense of humour.
We got to see so much and he always instinctively knew the best spot to be in and places to go, very much at one with the wildlife.
I can’t recommend Yasin enough, I stayed at Masi Sopa Lodge which was indulgent but absolutely worth it.
Out of so many amazing experiences it’s really hard to narrow it down to one but Lion Cubs were definitely a huge bonus highlight.

What a honeymoon!
An incredible experience with excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed the safari thanks to having a very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable personal guide (Pilipili the best!) We were able to tailor the route to our interests and enjoy the animals at our leisure. We would definitely repeat the experience and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Best local safari guide ever! 10/10 Masai Mara experience
Tony made our three-day safari absolutely unforgettable. We had an open-air jeep, which gave us amazing unobstructed views for every game drive, and Tony’s knowledge of the area was next-level like he tracked rhino footprints to find one for us, which really showed his skill and dedication.
We saw all of the Big Five up close: lions (including multiple feeding and cubs!!), elephants, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, vultures, hyenas — honestly it felt like we saw every animal Kenya has to offer. Tony was incredibly fast at spotting wildlife and always seemed to know exactly where to go and when.
Beyond his expertise, Tony was also just genuinely fun to be around, great sense of humor and made the whole experience feel personal, not like a routine tour. He also taught us a lot about his culture. Can’t recommend him highly enough for anyone planning a safari.
