Great experience with tour guide, Sarah. She knew a lot of the history of the Shensoji Temple where our tour was focused but was able to blend it very well with accounts of life in modern day Tokyo. Could communicate clearly and easily, and encouraged us to partake in some local traditions and sample a few cuisines.
My family and I had a wonderful tour and really enjoyed our time with our guide Nozomi! We learned so much and got to know the entire area. I would definitely choose this tour over trying to see the area alone since there are so many people and it would be easy to miss some of the important sites. Thank you, Nozomi!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're so glad your family got to explore the entire area so thoroughly with Nozomi, and that you found having a guide so much easier than navigating the crowds alone - it's easy to miss the important sites otherwise! Thanks for joining us, hope to see you again soon!
Nozumi was incredible! She was so lovely, attentive, kind, and professional. She is knowledgeable and took the time to go in-depth with the history of Senso Ji and the Asakusa area. She also helped us shop for everything we needed and took us around everywhere with out any issue. She is incredible and made our day in Asakusa perfect!

We of course picked the hottest summer day in Tokyo for this tour. Nevertheless, our guide made this a fun and engaging experience. The insight about the entrance gate, the street vendors, the cleansing water, and of course the temple was worth enduring the heat and humidity. The stops for refreshments along the way provided the needed momentary respite. Would be interested in doing this tour again on a future visit during the spring. Recommend this as a must-do tour!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're so glad our guide kept things fun and engaging even on the hottest day of the summer, with the insight into the entrance gate, street vendors, cleansing water, and the temple itself making the heat well worth it - and the refreshment stops came at just the right time! We'd love to have you back for a spring visit sometime. Thanks for calling this a must-do, hope to see you again soon!
