Best activity during our Egypt-Trip! Most important thing: the horses are in an excellent condition, in a good shape, healthy and well trained. Our guide Sasa took care of us all the time. He explained us everything carefully and dealt well with the horses. Beside that, we had lots of fun together. And in the end, he made amazing photos. We would love to come back again!

Would really recommend!! We got picked up from our hotel at 9am. The taxi driver was very lovely. We had about a 40 min journey from Makadi Bay. Everyone at the stables was very friendly. We had one guy who welcomed us and told us about what we were going to do, showed us round the places as I wanted to see the horses. They have some really beautiful ones, and a foal which was lovely. He spoke brilliant English. They have a very nice cool indoor seating area where you can change and they offer you a helmet and chaps if you would like them. We both wore gym wear - shorts and a top and trainers. I wish wore a bikini underneath though as you can have the option of taking your clothes off when swimming. Definitely wear sunglasses too. I’ve ridden before but my boyfriend hadn’t. They gave us perfect horses. Mine was a bit livelier which I asked for and he was slow and patient with him!! We went down the beach and back, then you stop and take the saddles and your clothes and shoes off if you wish and went for a swim. This was my an incredible experience! The sea was a gorgeous shade of blue and the horses were very good. You then go back to the beach and dry off, put the saddle back on and then we went into the dessert for a gallop (optional) which I really loved and so did my boyfriend! Our guide was really lovely and helped my boyfriend a lot whilst also going for a gallop with just me when I wanted to. He also took so many pictures and videos which was fantastic!! We have some lovely ones of this incredible experience. We then returned to the stables and our taxi driver was there to take us back. Really convenient. We picked the 3 hour experience and I would really recommend it. They are open if you wanted to go for a little shorter too. It was very easy to get back to the stables if you did want to. Overall, a fabulous experience. I would really recommend this and a huge thank you to the team - riding on the beach has been a huge dream for me!!

It was an unforgettable trip. The entire trip, from pick-up from the hotel to the end, was at a very high level. The guide arrived on time, was very polite with a great sense of humor. What an amazing trip with horses we had. We went swimming and desert too. Guide was super fun and good. Would recommend!!!

I am not encouraging animal slavery but back in the days horses were bred to work and if the animals have been treated in a good way then this activity has no issues. We have booked a 2 hours horse ride on the beach and sand, because we feel it’s bit too cold to swim. The transfer there was about 30 minutes but on the way back it was just over an hour as people from other hotel got dropped off first. At first, you will get paired up with a horses according to your height (I think) because I was the shortest in the group and I got the smallest horse. The guides will guide you round the beach then into the water, will do this for a few rounds, you are able to ride by yourself if you are capable of doing so. Just bear in mind that the water will get your shoes wet so bring a spare pair of shoes for your holiday just in case they don’t dry in time, not recommend wearing sliders or crocs as the metal ring for your feet will rub against your skin. While you are in the water with the horse they will help you take photos with your phone. Next, they guide you to the desert and go all the way to a pretty scenery part where everyone stops and guides take photos for you. According to abilities, you are able to gallop with the horse in the desert, if you are not quite sure how to do it, the guide with help you by chasing after your horse 😂. You will be guided back to where you start at the end and they will ask if you would like to tip them. They did a great job but I didn’t have any cash on me so I didn’t tip🥲, they are a very friendly group of guides and always make sure you are satisfied with the activity. Well done guys and you deserve the praise. 👏👏👏 (Note: your bottom may ache a bit after the activity like first time riding on a spin bike 😂)

A beautiful sunny day. A nice horseback ride on the beach and then in the desert. The 2 guys who accompanied us were attentive and kind and made us a lot of photos and videos.

Had a great time with Hani and his beautiful horses. Super nice guys and really helpful. They gave clear instructions on how to handles/control the horses. They were present, riding alongside throughout our experience. I highly recommend. Love it.

The owner was incredibly reassuring, taking the time to explain everything and ensure I felt comfortable before we started. They paired me with a calm and gentle horse that was perfect for a beginner. What stood out the most was how patient and attentive the staff were. They provided one-on-one guidance throughout the ride, making sure I felt safe and confident every step of the way. Anytime I needed help or had a question, they were right there to assist me without rushing or making me feel inexperienced. The scenery was breathtaking—riding through the desert felt like stepping into another world, with golden dunes stretching as far as the eye could see. Then, transitioning to the beach was simply magical. The sound of the waves and the ocean breeze added an entirely new layer of tranquility to the experience. I can’t recommend this experience enough, especially for beginners like me. The team’s professionalism and kindness made it unforgettable, and I’d love to come back again!

It is in a small remote village, but the team is very supportive and 5 minutes at the beach 🏖️ is so worth all the effort; our captain was kind to click several pictures for us.
