Fabien was wonderful, very knowledgeable about all things cheese, wine and the area. Very friendly and helpful. The day was fantastic, with a lot more wine than I thought we would get and food at kingross great, which you can take away if you can't eat it all. Highly recommend the trip.
What a great day! The weather was so sunny and we had an amazing driver. T was super informative with a great sense of humour and very accommodating. He was especially patient after a few winery tastings!

What an absolutely unforgettable experience! My husband and I booked the Private Wine Lovers Tour with Queenstown Wine Trail to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and it could not have been more perfect. Our wine guide, Teaukura (T), was simply amazing. From the moment we met him, he was warm, funny, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. His knowledge of the Central Otago wine region, the wineries and, of course, the wines was exceptional, but it was the way he shared it all that made the day so enjoyable. Nothing felt rushed or overly formal - it was relaxed, personal and so much fun. T also went above and beyond to make our anniversary feel incredibly special. He genuinely cared about making the day memorable for us, and he certainly succeeded! We laughed so much, learnt plenty, drank some absolutely beautiful wines and visited gorgeous wineries along the way. 🍷❤️ It ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our New Zealand trip and such a wonderful way to celebrate 20 years of marriage. We will always remember this day, and T was a huge part of what made it so special. Selected wineries all provided an excellent tasting of4+ wines and the food we had at lunch was excellent. Our driver/guide, Ed was very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as the wineries. It was an exceptional experience on all fronts.
Our guide was “T” and he was very knowledgable and entertaining. We visited 4 wineries for tasting and had a great time and learnt a lot. We would definitely repeat this experience, and especially if “T” was our guide. .

It’s the best way to learn about this wine region. QTWT employees are well-known and respected at every winery. Everything is set up for you at each stop. We’ve previously done this sort of tour on 3 different continents and found this one to be the smoothest-run. The wines are enjoyable, the scenery beautiful, the guides knowledgeable and engaging, and lunch at the winery is delicious. We even spotted the 89-year old guy who started the entire industry in Central Otago out in a vineyard!
