Excellent wine tasting with knowledgable multi-lingual host
Our group of four did the wine tasting with Ginevra. She was extremely knowledgable about wine, professional, and extremely friendly.
We learned about and enjoy local wines and had a wonderful time trying multiple wines with Ginevra. She was multilingual which helped everyone in our group understand everything about each of the wines. Highly recommend for anyone interested in trying local wines or visiting Rome.

A hidden gem in the heart of Rome
This was truly one of the highlights of our time in Rome. Fabullus Wine Cellar is a beautiful and intimate place, hidden away in the charming streets of Trastevere.
The experience felt very personal and exclusive, far from the usual crowded tourist activities. We tasted an excellent selection of Italian wines, each carefully paired with delicious local products, cheeses and specialties. Our sommelier was knowledgeable and passionate, explaining the wines and pairings in a very engaging and relaxed way.
The historic cellar itself is absolutely beautiful and creates a unique atmosphere. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and the quality of both the wines and food was outstanding.
If you are looking for something authentic, refined and different to do in Rome, Fabullus is an experience I would definitely recommend. A wonderful way to discover Italian wine and food in a truly special setting.

Great experience.
Fantastic experience. Genevra was perfect explaining details about each wine, where they come from and what it's the best to eat with it. We had the chance to be only 2 at this tour.

The Ancient Cellar Made The Tasting So Memorable
The underground cellar was definitely the highlight for us. It has such a different atmosphere from the usual places we visited in Rome, and knowing it is inside an old Roman cistern made it even more interesting. The wine was excellent and the food pairings were generous. One of a kind experience in Trastevere.

Lovely host and a great tasting
We had what ended up being a private tasting on 7/29 in the evening and it was really great! Our host was so lovely, she made the 3 of us- my 22 and 20 year old step kids and I- feel like we knew about wines by the end of our time and catered the tasting to our preferences! We left with a few bottles of wine and an appreciation for local wines and some to look out for on our next stop in Amalfi!

A five star experience
This is an exceptional experience.
The stage is set in a wonderfully intimate wine cellar, decorated with antiques handpicked by the owner, nestled underneath a cozy boutique hotel, in the beautifully authentic neighborhood of Trastevere.
Your host guides you through a selection of wines specifically designed for your pallet and level of expertise. Ours included a Merlot from Bomarzo, Lazio, a Tizzo Nero from Orvieto, Umbria and a Brunello di Montalcino. All were excellent.
Sip, talk about the wine and it’s origins, philosophy or any aspect of Italian culture.
This experience is a perfect mix of fun and knowledge. Relax, smile, laugh and learn. You are in the beautiful Eternal City of Rome enjoying wine :)
