このツアーは、生まれも育ちもニュルンベルクの地元民が企画したものです。 集会会場の歴史や、ニュルンベルク法やニュルンベルク裁判の簡単な概要などを掲載しています。 歴史的側面の傍らで、ニュルンベルクのナチの遺産への対処方法や、第三帝国の歴史が現代の教育、集団的記憶、文化にどのように反映されているかについても論じている。

旧ナチ党集会所の一部であるニュルンベルクのコングレスハレは、1930年代に建築家ルートヴィヒ・ルフとフランツ・ルフによって設計された。 ローマのコロッセオに着想を得て、50,000人を収容する予定であったが、第二次世界大戦の影響で完成することはなかった。 馬蹄形の巨大な建造物は、ナチスの野心とプロパガンダの象徴として立ちふさがっている。 戦後、ほとんど手付かずのまま放置され、現在はナチス時代を教育するドキュメンテーション・センターがあり、ドイツの歴史を思い起こさせる強力な場所として保存されている。
ニュルンベルクのルイトポルダレーナは1930年代にナチ党の集会のために建設された広大なパレード場で、10万人以上の観客を収容できる。 第二次世界大戦退役軍人のための「エーレンハレ」（栄誉の殿堂）を中心に建設された。 ナチスは「ヒトラープチュ」の没落した「旧友」を称えるためにこの公園を誤って利用したが、現在は公共公園として使われており、ナチスの歴史と全体主義の危険性を忘れさせない厳かな名残を残している。
ニュルンベルクのナチ党集会所の「大通り」は、アルベルト・シュペールが行進やパレードの中心軸として設計した全長1.5マイルの花崗岩の道路であった。 帝国都市ニュルンベルクを指向し、ナチスの政権をドイツの歴史的過去と結びつけようとする試みを象徴していた。 この通りは壮大な軍の行進や集会時の隊列のために計画されたが、第二次世界大戦の勃発によりほとんど使用されなかった。
ニュルンベルクのツェッペリンフェルトは、1930年代にアルベルト・シュペールが設計したナチ党の集会の主要な会場であった。 古代ギリシア・ローマ建築に着想を得た巨大なグランドスタンドを備え、中央の演壇にはヒトラーが演説し、最大20万人の群衆が詰めかけた。 第二次世界大戦後に連合軍によって爆破されたことで有名な巨大な卍がシンボルであり、ナチスの権力を象徴する場所であった。

Really good Tour. Tom did a amazing job keeping it fun and informative.
Great tour! Tom was friendly and knowledgable & managed to show us everything despite construction! Would suggest that a picture of the meeting place on a map be included on the confirmation email as google maps sent us elsewhere but Tom got us up to speed once we found the tour

Great tour. Learnt a lot. Can be a smaller group size though for better audibility. Expanse of the rally grounds is very mind blowing.
Tom was our guide and took us to all the key points of interest. He explained the history clearly and enriched the experience by sharing historic photographs from the time, which really helped bring everything to life. The tour was well paced, with thoughtful consideration given to comfort breaks. Overall, we really enjoyed his guiding style. I highly recommend taking this tour while visiting Nuremberg.

Really good tour having visited the temporary exhibition at the centre wasn’t sure what too expect - however the tour added so much to the understanding of the planned constructions and history of the 3rd Reich.
We had Tom as our tour guide, this was a fantastic learning experience. Tom spent time covering many important topics covering the third Reich architecture & propaganda, which was both informative and sobering.
Very pleased we did this tour with Tom of the former Nazi Party rally grounds area. We heard details and Tom had lots of pictures that explained the history and gave it context. It would have been difficult to navigate the large area on our own without a lot of research. Highly recommend this tour.
