I am one day into the 3-day tour of Pu Long, and am enjoying it thus far. I was picked up in Hanoi at quarter to seven in the morning, and driven to Pu Luong for 4-5 hours. Then I received lunch and my lodgings, before meeting my guide and hiking around with him. We visited Kho Muong cave (but didn't go inside), and walked through rice terraces. On the way back, he asked me to write a review for him, so here we are :)
Pu Luong Excursions contacted us via WhatsApp the day before the tour to confirm the hotel pick-up details. They were very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. It turned out that we were the only two guests on this tour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We chose the Deluxe package, which included a private room with an ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and exceeded our expectations. The staff spoke excellent English and were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The scenery throughout the tour was absolutely stunning, and the meals were delicious. (Just like most Ha Long Bay cruises, drinks are not included in the tour price.) Our guide, Quoc, is a local and was both professional and personable. He organized the itinerary very well and provided detailed explanations throughout the tour, making the experience both enjoyable and informative. Overall, this was truly a five-star experience from the 3 days tour. We couldn't have been happier with the tour and would highly recommend Pu Luong Excursions to anyone visiting northern Vietnam!
Our 3D2 trek in Pu Luong was well organised. From the pickup in Hanoi, the hotel accommodation in Pu Luong and our guide Quoc who was very knowledgeable, fun and spoke quite good English.
We had an amazing expérience. We chose the Luxury Package 3 days & 2 nights (270 USD/pers), stayed at the Pu Luong Ecoluxe Resort, and went on excursions in small groups (max 4 people). Our guide, Quoc, was very kind and taught us a lot about life in Pu Luong and his village. The excursions weren’t too difficult, and we had plenty of breaks. The Landscapes are stunning. I recommend wearing long pants and hiking shoes, as you’ll be walking on forest trails that can sometimes be slippery. It was an amazing experience that I’d recommend to everyone. Thank you Quoc!
An amazing 3-days trekking with a fabulous guide ! As a local, he gives very interesting informations about the local vietnamese and their way of life. He can adapt the tour according to you but still in the schedule ! Pu Luong is an amazing landscape, beautiful mountains. The operator tour organized full options, Then we don’t have to think about anything ! A great Thank you to the team !
We were completely satisfied! The organization was great and our guides on site (Sunny and Quoa, I hope I spelled his name correctly :) were really so nice and answered all our many questions super! The people from the hotel were great and that eat very well. Thanks for this lovely trip!
Our tour guide Quoq was super nice and accommodating. He took perfect care of us for the three days and showed us a lot away from the hotspots. This gave us the perfect insight into the not-so-tourist Pu Luong. We had a lot of contact with the locals and were even allowed to invest in some things ourselves by hand. We can only recommend the tour and would book it again at any time.
We booked very spontaneously in a small tour agency in Hanoi this tour from Pu Luong excursions and it was one of our best tours on our 3 weeks stay in Vietnam. The hotel was fantastic, the staff there was so accommodating, friendly and hospitabel. The food very delicious and always more than we could eat. All the tours were perfectly organized. The tour guides very well trained and have spoken a good English as well. You really can call it excursions because we did actively so much different things in the Pu Luong Naturreserve. We got an enormous insight not only in the life of the Black Thai people but also in the stunning nature. We highly recommend this tour and would book it again.
We really liked the tour. We have experienced and seen a lot. We especially liked the 10km hike to the cave and the village, as we experienced breathtaking views and hiking trails. In addition, we were lucky enough to be alone with our guide Quoc that day. The accommodation and food was also very good. The staff was attentive and helpful.
Very nice tour to the rice fields less touristy than other tours, super guide, highly recommended.
