Tommy was knowledgeable and gave an outstanding tour. He not only showed us the sights, but provided great detail and answered questions about the sights and histroy of Quebec. The private tour was nice as we were not rushed and moved at our own pace. Highly recomend thos tour.

Must do tour in Quebec City . Freezing day and bundle up if doing tours in December and careful while walking . Got to know so much of history in 3-4 hrs.

Great experience and introduction to Quebec City. We felt we learned a lot and saw many of the highlights in Vieux Quebec. Even my teenagers were engaged.

Tommy Byrne is a historian by trade and possesses encyclopedic knowledge about the sites, cultural evolution and overall history of the region. He is affable, thoughtful, deeply knowledgeable, and passionate, so there was never a dull moment on the tour: which touched on topics ranging from local cuisine to contemporary political structure. His intimate familiarity with the sites we visited enhanced his historical acumen with colorful commentary influenced by his personal experience and family legacy. Even the damp and dank weather didn’t undermine the experience.

Tommy was a great tour guide - his knowledge and experiences of Quebec are impressive and he was able to share with us in a very interesting and informative way. Tommy was also very accommodating and easy to communicate with as we had to change our tour time/date due to airline issues which we really appreciated.

Tommy is an interesting and deeply knowledgeable guide with a thorough understanding of the rich history and dynamic evolution of Quebec's population and cultural center. My wife and I were treated to a full three hours of education provided by a true expert on Quebec as only a life-long citizen could offer - getting into the perspectives on its wars, religions, social neighborhoods, and much more.
