Even though I have visited Victoria many times, this was my first for a walking tour. Luis was very knowledgeable about the history of Victoria. He recommended good places to eat and to grab a drink. I did try a couple of those today. Excellent.
Joe (and Mr wylie), were brilliant guides! Joe presented comprehensive and really interesting facts and amusing anecdotes. It was a fun and informative tour. The tour size was ideal and the pace was good. Joe is to be congratulated for his presentation style and eclectic knowledge of the history of the area.
Paid Viator for tour but it was a FREE walking tour by another company. 8 of 11 were from England and she spent a lot of time about poppies and Q. Victoria which they all knew. She kept referring to the Customs House as the Immigration Bldg not seeming to know the difference. Left group after one hr as it was not very informative- less information than what Google noted if you entered each location on the tour.
Joe gave an excellent and very informative tour of Victoria. As a local, he is able to give a lot of insight into the city and its history. Highly recommended.
I’d recommend this tour to folks that have the time. It’s a leisurely stroll with some great information regarding the cities history along the way. I clocked about 1.25 miles during the tour. Our group of 29 was from all over the world.
Jayne was our guide, she was very knowledgeable. The tour was an easy 3km walk, which stretched out over 3 hours.
Although we have been to Victoria many times, we had never done a walking tour. You just don’t know what all is around, and the history, unless you have a local, knowledgeable tour guide to show you around. We learned so many things! Our guide, Jane, has lived in Victoria for over 45 years, and provided wonderful history and narration!! Easy walking and pace.

Had a great tour with Joe C and his little dog Mr Wylie. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Victoria. He also shared photos that he took of our group as well as recommendations for local experiences and restaurants. Definitely recommend this tour guide
Excellent. Well paced explored out of the way places as well as the notable landmarks. Informative and learnt abt history of Victoria and the place of First Nations people and culture without being overwhelmed with unnecessary detail. Highly recommend.
