This was a great and truly unforgettable experience. We enjoyed our stay and all of the experiences. The hotel and accommodations themselves are not amazing (the bathroom was dirty). However, all of the staff and the owner were incredibly kind, loving, and amazing to be around. Our tour guide Shanti and her dog were the best guides we've ever had and made the experience truly unforgettable. Additionally, the owner and a local shaman guided us through an ayahuasca ceremony that was unforgettable experience. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime visit (Especially if you get Shanti).

We had a very good time on the Tambopata National Reserve tour. Organizationally, everything worked out great with the pickup and the program. We were also very satisfied with our guide Saúl, who had good knowledge of the area and also conveyed enjoyment of his work. The lodge is clean and very beautifully landscaped. You also always had some time at noon to go to the pool, relax a bit in the sun, and enjoy the landscape. The 3-day tour is also sufficient in terms of time to do all the important program points. I personally liked the tour to the reserve at Lake Sandoval especially well. We would recommend this tour anytime and have truly gathered unforgettable experiences here.

Very well organized, simple, good accommodation, good host, with good food. Everyone was helpful; I had a special request for the return trip, and it worked out perfectly.

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The trips were very unique and gave a good picture of the Amazon. The accommodation was authentic and fitted into the Amazon experience. However, we were disappointed in our guide Victor. The poor English made for poor communication to our group, which made him feel rather unsafe with the majority of activities. He knew both the terrain and the activities insufficiently to inform us correctly. We expected an experienced guide to remember the way back to the lodge during a night hike in the jungle without our group having to help... By listening to the guide of other groups we noticed that this was especially true for our group, and this cannot necessarily be generalized.

Absolutely brilliant trip to the Amazon. Lovely, friendly staff especially our Guide Sai. Always helpful with what you need. Good standard of accommodation with private bathrooms and mosquito nets. Food was tasty and plentiful! Activities were great, we saw loads of animals from monkeys to capybaras, caimans, sloths and birds on the clay lick. Good balance between active and rest time. The ziplining was so much fun! Thank you!

There are lot of wonderful activities and great guides take everything. The animals and plants were fascinating. The guides provided lots of insight.

It was a very good experience and our group had the luck to see many animals, some very close to the lodge. This was only possible thanks to our amazing guide Jesus who knew a lot about the fauna and the animals, could hear the animals from afar, was patient and easily detected the animals, even at night. The food at the lodge was always very tasty and the staff very friendly. Whatever problem happened the staff were always very helpful. The lodge is simple but with the essential for a few days of tranquility and adventure.

This was great value for money! They picked me right up from the airport and I was introduced to my guide for my 3 days in the office before we took the boat to the Lodge. Luis was so friendly and a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. They pack a lot of activities into the 3 days. Zip lining through th Amazon was a highlight as well as Monkey Island. The staff at the Lodge are so friendly and always willing to help. My room was really big, with a lovely hot shower. It felt like it was in the middle of paradise and came complete with a pool! The food was also great and very plenty.

Overall I really enjoyed my Amazon trip to Paradise Eco Lodge. The organization was very good and I enjoyed the time I had to relax in between activities. My guide Sergio was excellent. He knew a lot and was great at spotting wildlife. The grounds of the eco lodge were beautiful. The room was basic but functional. I was, however, disappointed to find that the bathroom in my room was not clean when I checked in. Once I brought this up with Sergio, he made sure it was taken care of. The other thing that was frustrating was I asked a staff member for a blanket as there was only a sheet on my bed and the weather was quite cool during my visit. I heard the staff member radio someone to ask for a blanket for my room so I assumed I would get one. However, when I went back to my room just before the electricity went out at 9:45pm there was no blanket. At this point the electricity was off and there was no staff to be found. I ended up covering myself with my towel and several sweaters/jackets and was able to get an okay sleep, but I would have much rather had a blanket. I found this very disappointing and it left me feeling disrespected as a guest. Thankfully, the next day I was able to get a blanket for night 2.

It was a superb experience; we loved our time in the Amazon. We were lucky with the weather and were able to do plenty of activities! The accommodations are standard but perfect for sleeping, and the food is incredible; we ate very, very well. I can tell you that I miss it a lot, haha. Don’t hesitate if you want to have this experience; our guide is super passionate and provided us with as much information as possible.
