サンディエゴ川河口 サンディエゴ川の河口を通過します。サンディエゴ川の河口は、市の東にある山々からはるばる移動し、ここで太平洋に着きます。 川と海が交わる場所には、鳥や魚、その他の野生動物を引き付ける豊かな生息地があります。 この淡水と塩水の出会いは、驚くべき量の生命を支えています。
オーシャンビーチ ゆったりとした人柄で知られる南カリフォルニアの伝統的なサーフタウン、オーシャンビーチをクルーズします。 通り過ぎると、カラフルなお店やヤシ並木、波に乗ろうと繰り出すサーファーが目に飛び込んできます。 この界隈は、ヴィンテージのビーチタウン精神が息づいている。
オーシャンビーチ桟橋 太平洋に2000フィート近く続くオーシャンビーチ桟橋を滑空して通り過ぎます。 通り過ぎると、釣り人が糸を垂らしながら、海鳥が頭上に舞い上がり、サーファーが近くで波に乗る光景が見られます。 この桟橋は西海岸で最長のコンクリート桟橋の一つとして建っている。
ミッションビーチ 太平洋とミッションベイの間に広がる活気ある砂地、ミッションビーチをクルーズします。 水上からは、サイクリスト、スケーター、ビーチ客が終日集まる有名な遊歩道が見えます。 このビーチは、エネルギーと太陽の光でよく賑わいます。
ベルモント・パーク ベルモント・パークでは、海岸線にそびえ立つ歴史的な巨大斗七星のジェットコースターを見ることができます。 この木製コースターは、1925年以来、ライダーを感動させ、今でも米国で運営されている数少ない海辺のジェットコースターの1つです。 海からは、このサンディエゴのランドマークの最高の眺めが楽しめます。

ポイント・ロマ サンディエゴ湾を守る天然のバリアを形成する半島、ポイント・ロマを一周します。 このドラマチックな岬を通り過ぎると、何世紀にもわたって船乗りたちを港へと導いてきた様子が分かります。 このランドマークはサンディエゴの海事史において重要な役割を果たしてきた。
ポイント・ロマ灯台 上空の崖の上には、歴史あるポイント・ロマ灯台があります。 1855年に建設され、カリフォルニアの初期にはサンディエゴ湾に安全に船をガイドするのに役立った。 今日ではカブリリョ国定記念物の中に建っており、サンディエゴの長い海とのつながりを象徴し続けている。

Was our first boat tour and being out in the sea. Family enjoyed the ride. Saw a bunch of dolphins. No actual whale sighting but did see an occasional water spouting out into the air. Sat on the top deck, whether was sunny but the further we went out to sea, the breeze was much cooler. Staff was friendly and informative. Tickets were reasonable. Parking was free across the street from the building.
We got to see other animals such as Rays (Round and sting), flying fish, seagulls, sea lions. It was also nice and relaxing.
It was very fun. Long ride on the sea plus we got to see a humpback. The captain was kind enough to hang out so we could see it multiple times. The crew was great! Even funny and very knowledgeable

That there is a good chance you don’t see any whales. The staff and captain were good and the dolphins amazing!
The whale-watching tour itself was great. We didn’t see any whales, but we saw hundreds of dolphins, which was amazing, and the tour guide was excellent. However, I was very disappointed by the $6 binocular rental. The binoculars were clearly defective, with badly misaligned optics that made it impossible to see a single image. I’m an ornithologist and very experienced with binoculars, so I know exactly what the problem was. What bothered me most was that the staff seemed to know there was an issue but still insisted the binoculars were fine rather than acknowledging the problem or offering a refund. I even asked another staff member to check them, but he declined because he said his eyesight was not good enough to judge them. It’s not about the $6. It’s about knowingly renting out equipment that doesn’t work properly and refusing to take responsibility. Unfortunately, this left a very bad impression and took away from what was otherwise a wonderful tour.
Great experience by far. We had an all female crew which i found to be amazing, Captain lady and her awesome crew were very professional and pleasant.. did I forget to mention the clean bathrooms on board.. definitely doing this again..
Fantastic narration. Natural History Museum docents on cruise as well. The Captain and whole crew were very nice and knew so much about the sea life. There were flying fish, rays, and a dolphin pod of over 1,000 dolphins right next to us.
No guarantee on seeing whales, but well worth it! We saw 2 huge pods of dolphins running both sides of ship.
Great way to get on the water. Saw some awesome marine mammals. Weather was beautiful and ocean was calm.
