We had a short trip, only 4 days and just 2 people, but it couldn’t have been more complete. We visited Naivasha, Hell’s Gate, Crescent Island, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara, and managed to do everything we wanted and even more. Before booking, we compared many different companies, and Antonio Safaris offered us the best price and the most flexibility. They tailored the itinerary, activities, accommodation and budget exactly to our needs. In our case, the whole experience cost approximately $1,300–1,500 USD per person, even though there were only two of us and the safari was completely private. Everything was included: accommodation, all meals, transportation, park fees, activities and our guide. We didn’t have to pay for any unexpected extras during the trip, apart from the tips we voluntarily chose to give, which came to around $50 USD per person in total. We especially want to mention Edna, who organized everything for us. She always replied incredibly quickly, was absolutely lovely and adjusted the trip as many times as necessary until it was exactly what we wanted. Everything went perfectly. Our guide, Michaell, was with us throughout the four days. The agency offered us the option of having a Spanish-speaking guide, which we really appreciated. He drove for many hours, explained everything in detail and made a huge effort to find all the animals for us. We saw zebras, thousands of wildebeest, many different types of antelope, buffalo, warthogs (the famous “Pumba”), giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles and countless birds, including ostriches, pelicans and flamingos. The most incredible thing was that we saw all of them several times and from less than 10 metres away, some even much closer. We had been on safaris in other countries before, but we had never seen so many animals or been able to see them from so close. The vehicle was also safe, comfortable and offered excellent visibility. 10/10 for the organization, service, guide, experience and value for money. We couldn’t be happier and would 100% recommend Antonio Safaris.

His tracking skills and knowledge of the parks were unreal—he knew exactly where to go and consistently spotted wildlife before anyone else. Thanks to his sharp eyes and expertise, we were lucky enough to check off both Kenya’s Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo) and the Ugly 5 (Hyena, Marabou Stork, Vulture, Warthog, and Wildebeest)! John was honestly the best tour guide we could have asked for. From the moment we met him, he was so incredibly kind, welcoming, and just a joy to be around. He made the entire experience unforgettable. Not only did he help us see the Big Five, but he also made sure we found the Ugly Five and so much more. His knowledge of the animals and the Maasai Mara was amazing, and he explained everything in a way that was interesting without overwhelming us with information. He let us ask questions whenever we wanted and always had thoughtful answers. Every day, John gave us a briefing so we always knew what the plan was and what to expect. He was also extremely punctual, which made everything run so smoothly and stress-free. To top it all off, when we got a flat tire, John fixed it quickly and kept everything running without letting it affect our experience. We felt so lucky to have someone who truly knew what they were doing and cared about making our safari special. And yes… he’s also a very cute guy, and we absolutely loved him! 😂 Thank you, John, for giving us memories we’ll never forget. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

We spent three days travelling with Anthony. Two of those days were in the Masai Mara, and we were very impressed! He told us so much about the animals and the national park in general. Anthony was incredibly patient, and even after what felt like the hundredth photo of the sunset, he stopped again for us. We can recommend him 100% and would book him again for our next trip!

I booked my Amboseli and Masai Mara safaris with Antonio Safaris. Antonio is not only the owner of the company but also a highly experienced guide with over 10 years in the field. Traveling with him was truly enjoyable, and I had an amazing safari experience. Although we didn’t manage to spot leopards or rhinos—since it’s peak season and you usually have to start very early to have a slight chance—it actually gave us a reason to look forward to our next trip. We did, however, witness incredible moments like a cheetah hunting and feeding, a majestic lion, and entire prides of lions, along with so many other unforgettable scenes of wildlife on the savannah. A safari in Kenya is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend Antonio Safari. They are professional, reliable, and made the journey unforgettable!

Third time for me and it was as magical as the first. From the first, Lucy Karimi made the organizing process effortless .... seems that there is little she can't do! And she does it with promptness, grace and alacrity. Our driver, Simon, polished off the rest of the trip. His knowledge of all the animals, Kenya and even the world is amazing. No question was treated as too simplistic. He is even a pretty good Swahili teacher. Odyssey is the ONLY way I will ever travel in Africa.
