Travelling as a pair, we wanted something that felt personal rather than packaged, and this break delivered. We shared a sunrise over the West Bank cliffs, held hands in the shadow of Hatshepsut’s colonnades, and lingered over long dinners beside the river. The hotel staff were kind, the guide gave us space when we wanted it, and the schedule left room for spontaneity. Luxor is romantic in a way that is hard to explain, and three days was just enough to fall under its spell.

We did a two nights/3 days Luxor tour from Hurghada with kids 5 and 8 year old and spread the program out over 3 days what some others do in one day (Karnak/Luxor Temples, Valley of the Kings, Memmon, etc.) Communication with Ash (Tour Operator) was smooth and worked well, guides were excellent, driver was good. Price was very good too compared to other quality online tour operators (passed on the ticket discount for kids). Only thing was, we requested no commission/tourist souvenir stops, but at some point were brought to one (Alabaster store). It was an OK experience at that stop, just mention it at the beginning of the day to your guide that you don't want such a stop if you are not interested.

Michael was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly kind. He guided us through ancient Egypt with passion, sharing unique and insightful information that went far beyond the usual explanations. It’s clear he deeply knows his country and truly loves his work. Thanks to him, our experience in Luxor was unforgettable and made us genuinely fall in love with its history and culture.

Ever wondered what the perfect tour guide is like? His name is Michael. Knowledgeable as they come, with a true gift for captivating you with his stories. Positive and enthusiastic but not to the point where you feel the need to be constantly chirpy around him. A true entertainer in the best way possible. The kind of guide who cares.. for example, he will periodically offer to take photos of you in key locations, which is his way of encouraging you to preserve the memories he helps you create. His passion for his work is contagious, and will translate into the best guided tour possible.. honestly if you get the chance to learn from him, don’t hesitate! It’s a privilege.
