A must in Vietnam. The most beautiful piece of nature I've seen so far. On board a cruise ship you will sail into Halong Bay. Between the limestone islands you sail a lot further into the bay of the descending dragon. In the meantime, you will be introduced to a very vast area and islands with caves and water. After a few hours of laundry you are anchored and make a trip to one of the islands, where you can visit a cave. Furthermore, you will sail to a fishing village located in the middle of the rocks. Here you can choose to sail in a small boat or take the canoe yourself to sail through the village. Beautiful!!
Stunning scenery, best observed on the extended cruise. A day-trip won't take you far enough out to "lose" the hundreds of other boats. Go now before it becomes so popular you won't be able to capture it on camera without many vessels in your viewfinder. The on-shore Town is fast becoming overcrowded, spoiling the remote feel of the Bay.
Just spent a great couple of days exploring Halong bay and then on to monkey island. Lots of activities to do and very friendly and helpful people Enjoyed visiting the cave the most truly amazing our tour guide David was great so helpful and passionate about what he does

One hotel after another, as well as restaurants .. the choice is difficult, all depending on the tourist. To visit the bay there are many proposals with different boats but the one day is enough to enjoy the view. Every day hordes of tourists arrive for a day but spending the evening in a quiet place is advisable!
Excellent experience in halong bay one of the best places to visit in Vietnam friendly crew and great hospitality. Peter was our tour guide and he is amazing with good communication and area knowledge highly recommended.
