Jen was an awesome tour guide. Because our group was so large we utilized the whole nus for our group. We saw 15-20 eagles, and a couple of bears. When we went to the beach Jen found a couple star fish and the kids loved getting their pictures taken with it. Hen also took an awesome picture of our group of 15 that we’ll cherish for ever. When she dropped us off in Ketchikan she provided great directions to the best places.

Guide talked about his family most of the time. Didn’t see any bears, but that wasn’t his fault. He brought up pot use by fishermen at least fives times. Ketchikan was great. Guide not so much.

Shad was the BEST guide ever! He told us so many interesting facts as an Alaskan born, and answered all of our questions. We saw bears, salmon spanning, native berries, and gorgeous views! He also had drinks and snacks he gave us which helped a lot!

What can I say. This was the first time that my family and I have been on a cruise and this is our first trip to Ketchikan. What better for type of person to take you on a tour of Ketchikan and someone who grew up in the town. Shad was amazing. Very knowledgeable and was very flexible with my family. He made it easy for my children to understand. My family and I highly recommend that you consider touring the island. Tons of salmon, and some great views on your trip around the island. We were very happy that we got to see a bear on our venture.

We had a wonderful time today with Daniel. We were able to see bears, the salmon run, eagles, crabs, and a local waterfall. Daniel was very informative and answered our many questions about the salmon life cycle, Ketchikan, and local plants and berries.

Our family of 9 with a mixture of kids, teens and adults had the best time. Hanna arrived on time to pick us up and asked if there was anything specific we wanted to do or see. She brought us to see a bear, showed us how to catch a salmon (which the kids throughly enjoyed trying on their own) and brought us back to the dock where she showed us where to find sea stars, sea urchins and jellyfish. Hanna gave us some information on the town, provided snacks and water and let us go at our own pace without feeling rushed. We only wished we had more time! Overall great experience!

Shad was amazing. Easy to hang with and attentive to our needs. Would recommend!

Shad was the man. He took us all over Ketchikan and took time to listen to what we wanted to see. It ended up being a great day when we saw lots of wildlife and waterfalls and tons of salmon and really got the essence of what Ketchikan is.

Worth taking this adventure and the company owns their own island and stopping there was magical the food was delicious!
