We started our trip to Quebec City with a 3 hour tour thru Viator. Our guide, Juan, was great!! We have used Viator on a number of other trips and have never been disappointed! Great way to learn about the city you are visiting!!

Overall I’m glad we did this walking tour and do recommend if this is your first time in Quebec. However it’s not for everyone as there are hills and it is a lot of walking. We had a young couple with a baby stroller on our tour and, unfortunately, they were unable to complete the tour. The guide was knowledgeable enough and very pleasant. Thought he did a pretty good job on covering the area’s rich history. Personally I would rather this have been a paid tour and then tipped the guide based on his time and work. I found the “free tour but we need you to tip X amount” to be somewhat off putting.

Excellent tour in English with Juan, he showed us around Quebec for three hours showing us the main areas and explained the history of the old city within the walls. We were a happy group of 11 and we had a coffee and washroom stop after 90 mins. We did walk up hills and steps, so not suitable for all, and we were very lucky the weather was sunny and dry. Recommended, thanks Juan. We tipped 30 CAD each for his interesting circular tour.

Small and personal tour of Quebec City guided by Juan. Fantastic way to explore and experience the city. We learned about the history of the city , shops , restaurants and even coffee shops to visit! Juan was extremely friendly and informative. So glad we did it and had Zjuan as our guide.

The walking tour felt a bit rushed, even though the group was small. There was also a subtle but noticeable pressure around tipping, which made the experience a bit slightly uncomfortable. I’m also confused as to why the website displays prices in USD for what is presented as a Toonie tour a Canadian tour company. Prices should be shown in Canadian dollars. The large waiver at the beginning also felt a bit excessive. That said, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and did a good job overall. However, it felt like there was a lack of deeper local cultural background, possibly because he seemed relatively new to the city. It was ok. To be clear, this is not a criticism of the guide personally, but rather of the overall structure and approach of the tour structure.

This was a very enjoyable tour of Old Quebec City. Juan, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and informative and presented all the information well. I feel I now understand the history and present day life of Quebec City much better and we saw a lot of this area of Quebec city. I would definately recommend this tour.

We met Juan, our free walking tour guide, under the Cartier statue in snowy Montmorency Park in March. Easy to find with the red Toonie Tours umbrella. It was a great tour - lots of hints and history; architecture; delicious popcorn; street art. Old Quebec town is very pretty, and it's great to have someone show you around a city that you've never been to. We took Juan up on a few of his hints - a place for dinner; catch the pubic bus to the Falls; go to the Plains of Abraham and the Citadel. Thanks Juan! Highly recommended.

Very good, my female tour guide i think her name was margo, was very good and knowledgeable! Thank You for a beautiful tour!

Juan gave us the tour in Spanish, it was very friendly, we made stops in cafeterias to warm up a little, because it was very cold. But overall everything was perfect!
