What a wonderful way to experience northern Albania. Our guide Andri really made our experience perfect. He went above and beyond to really show us and tell us about the highlights of the area. He was fun (and funny) and engaging and always there to help. The main hike was a good challenge. The guesthouses were really nice and the food was exceptional. The logistics were smooth and the hotel pickup and drop off were appreciated. Marsia at the office was very responsive and helpful. We also liked our driver Kledi on Day 1. Fun music in the car! Highly recommend this tour if you want to be active and get out of the city and into a gorgeous part of the country.

The tour was definitely the best part of our trip! Our guide, Redi, was fantastic. You can immediately feel how passionate he is about his job, as well as how helpful and professional he is. The places we visited were absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking mountain views. The Blue Eye of Theth was simply amazing — truly a spectacular place. The hike from Valbona to Theth is definitely not to be underestimated. It is quite challenging, but it is absolutely worth it for the incredible landscapes and views you get to experience along the way. It’s an experience we will definitely remember! We had a few issues regarding some aspects of the accommodation bookings, but the problems were handled and resolved, allowing us to enjoy the trip anyway. If I had to find one “downside” to the trip, it would simply be that I wish we had had an extra full day in Theth, just to relax, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and take in those wonderful views a little longer! Overall, we absolutely recommend this experience, especially thanks to Redi, who made the tour even more special!

Our hike from Valbona to Theth was the perfect start to our Balkan adventure and ended up being one of the most unforgettable experiences of our entire trip. From the moment we were picked up, everything was exceptionally well organized. Our guide, Briken, and driver/guide, Kledi, were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our small group had an amazing experience, sharing their knowledge of the region, accommodating everyone’s needs, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere throughout the journey. The hike from Valbona to Theth was absolutely breathtaking. Every turn revealed another incredible mountain vista, making the challenging trek more than worth it. Reaching the Blue Eye was another major highlight—the crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by dramatic scenery looked like something straight out of a postcard. One of the best parts of the tour was the small group size. It gave everyone the opportunity to get to know one another, and by the end of the trip, we had gone from strangers to friends, sharing laughs, stories, and unforgettable memories along the way. The accommodations were cozy and authentic, the local food was delicious, and every stop along the journey showcased the warmth and hospitality that Albania is known for. It was the perfect balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation. If you love hiking, spectacular mountain scenery, and authentic travel experiences, don’t hesitate to book this tour. The entire trip was absolutely fantastic and with a great group of other solo travellers Massive shout out to Briken with his in depth knowledge of Albanian history, the hike itself and all round just being a very nice and dependable guide. We had an issue or two which he very quickly and professionally resolved. Couldn't recommend this trip enough but please go through the operator and not any third party or you'll pay up to 30% more

These three days were the absolute highlight of my trip. Not only was the hike stunning and the Blue Eye beautiful, but everything was so well thought out that I turned my brain off for three days and felt so relaxed even while traveling. Every meal, transportation, and activity was seamless and so well thought out (and the hospitality at the guesthouses was so wonderful). But it was our guides that truly made this trip the best. Dori was knowledgeable, caring and trustworthy on the hike, and he went above and beyond for our group. It was my friend’s birthday and he surprised her with a cake! But just a great guy and a great guide to lead us. Especially because this was the most challenging hikes I’ve ever done, and he was patient and helpful the whole time. The third day Dori continued on with part of the group so Redi took us to the Blue Eye and into Shkoder. He was also amazing! Great on the hike and very trustworthy. He took us to a great traditional restaurant in Shkoder that was delicious. But truly the highlight of the day was our roadtrip! He was not only a great driver but so fun to spend time with, and so happy to answer our questions about Albanian culture. We truly loved this experience and have no complaints. Highly recommend.

Our hiking tour of Theth and Valbona was nothing less than what we expected. One of the best hikes I ever did, beautiful valleys and rivers and the hike it self was not difficult. It was a well crafted itinerary especially for not the most experienced hikers. We go through Komani Lake and Valbona on the 1st day and in the second we are well rested for the 2nd day big hike. Third day had hiking planned as well, but less than the 2nd day. A special thank you to Riserd who helped us organise everything and our guide Daniel who was very engaging and helpful throughout the whole experience. I recommend this itinerary and adventure for anyone who likes to trek/hike and enjoy beautiful mountainous scenery.

Good itinerary, excellent hikes, beautiful scenery and delicious meals. First accommodation was perfect but second, less so on account of lack of lighting in room. Despite being assured that lunch was included on the last day, clients had to pay their own way. Our guide, Daniel, provided sound information re local history of specific locations but otherwise, appeared reluctant to engage with the group and his manner was often overly brusque. We were constantly being hurried along, allowing little time to simply enjoy and take photos of the environment; an unnecessary precaution since on both occasions, we arrived at the guest houses with a lot of time to spare before dinner.
