What a fantastic experience... A romantic cabin on the edge of the largest fjord in Norway, the Sognefjord. I contacted the owner directly via his website. A very friendly and helpful man. We are staying 3 weeks in cabin Gulleple. With a view of the fjord and very close to the quay. In the spacious cabin, you will find everything you need for a relaxing stay. A spacious kitchen where you can cook, all kitchen utensils are available. For groceries you can go to the village (2 supermarkets) The terrace offers you a beautiful and quiet view of, for example, the different yachts sailing in and out of the Fjord... Inge Menes (owner of the cabins) also rents out motorboats, fishing gear, canoes, and Subs for all water fun. If you still have a problem or questions, He & his charming wife are in the neighborhood daily. Your car can easily park next to the cabin, a relief for me. In the heart of the Fjord area, this is truly the ideal place for a short (2 - 3 nights) or a longer stay. We had a wonderful holiday with 'mild' temperatures and rain, but that couldn't spoil the atmosphere! We immediately felt the 'home away from home' feeling... And next time in the High North, we will definitely come back! Fishermen among you? This is a paradise for the hobby angler! Sognefjord Cabins, a recommendation for the Sognefjord!

My husband and I had a wonderful trip! The operators were very helpful when one thing went wrong (not due to their error) and quickly resolved the situation for us! They went above and beyond.

The itinerary was meticulously planned down to the smallest detail. Excellent service both before and throughout the trip.

Was easy to follow the directions getting from place to place. The sights seen were amazing! Would highly recommend this trip. Was a lot fun!

Well worth a self tour if first timer to Norway. Instructions are clear and accurate. Unfortunately our return train to Oslo was cancelled when we already commenced the tour but they contacted us via email and provided alternatives back to Oslo.

The experience, although self-guided, was very well organized. All the various tickets were in proper order and easily accessed on my phone. I received an email the morning of my trip which contained the links to all the tickets and a reminder of the details of the itinerary.

Tour was good and there was sufficient time for everything. Instructions were clear as well. One down side that I experienced with Viator was this: During the bus 950 ride from Gudvangen to Voss train station, there were roadworks which delayed our arrival time at Voss train station. I was scheduled to be on the 7.13pm train from Voss to Bergen. When I checked with Viator if there would be a refund or reimbursement if I were to miss the train due to the unforeseen roadworks, the response I got was disappointing. It was a stressful bus ride. As we cannot foresee any future unforeseen circumstances, I would suggest anyone who would want to do the same tour to book with Norway's Best instead. They provide an open ticket within the same day which eliminates any unnecessary stress.

Great experience! I appreciate the itinerary created for us for the self guided tour. Def recommend the sleeping compartment on the overnight train!

The journey is long but not really exhausting. Highly recommended for a short visit to Norway. It was beautiful!
