The all-day tour with Allen is really excellent, and I highly recommend it. Excellent communication from booking until pick-up, which was extremely convenient. The tour itself covered so much geography, history and politics, and really brought Hualien and the Taroko Gorge to life. The tour was structured to allow as many activities as possible, around the current restrictions in the national park. Allen himself is enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable, a superb guide for the day. Hualien is easily reached from Taipei, and this tour alone is worth the detour. Thanks Allen!

We had a really wonderful day with our guide Allen. Even though parts of the Taroko Gorge are currently not accessible, the visit was still absolutely worth it and one of the most spectacular experiences of our Taiwan trip. The scenery is simply breathtaking, with huge marble cliffs, rivers and nature everywhere. Allen shared many interesting stories about the region and made the whole tour very enjoyable and relaxed. We also visited a beautiful beach and walked along a peaceful forest trail, which made the day even more special. We can highly recommend this tour!

We had a great day out with Allen. Beautiful scenery, some light walking, a good variety of stops and delicious indigenous food. Allen is very knowledgeable and keen to share all about the area, history and people.

Overall a great tour with a very experienced local guide. Allan shared a lot about the taiwanese history with us while driving us to the different hot spots which we appreciated a lot. It was a nice suprise that it was only the two of us so we had a private tour. One of my personal highlights was our lunch at a typical Taroko aboriginal restaurant. If I have one thing to criticize it‘s that we‘d have loved a bit more time in the Taroko Nationalpark because we had to rush that part a bit between photo sessions and hikes. But it‘s not easy since there is a stricts time schedule drivers need to respect for entering and leaving Taroko. Overall I would recommend this tour!

Had a wonderful day in Hualien/Taroko with tour guide Allen! He crafted a well-balanced itinerary that provided time on our own, a bit of hiking, a delicious meal, and a visit to a gorgeous temple. I appreciated his calm, confident, and prepared style - we were in very capable hands. He very sweetly answered a lot of our questions about the rest of our trip and helped book us a tour for another day and sent us a bunch of great-looking restaurant recommendations! My tour guide Allen was knowledgeable, punctual and responsive. Taroko park is amazing, it is a pity that the majority of trails are closed after the earthquake. I am grateful to Allen for the experience.

Allen’s tour took us on a wonderful journey all over Hualien! We got to hike, see waterfalls, monkeys, temples, the ocean, and experienced a cool drive through the national park. Allen has a great amount of knowledge of the history of Taiwan and of the area- we learned so much! His English was also quite good. We felt safe and had a great time!

Allen picked me up in front of my accommodation and immediately impressed me with his deep knowledge of Taiwan and the particular area. He knew exactly how long it would take to get places, how long to stay in areas, and allowed me to see more than I would ever have been able to do so on my own.
