Absolutely fantastic tour with Hong! So very informative and friendly. The food spots were gems and a great way to dive into the Siem Reap food scene.

We had an absolutely brilliant time on this food tour! Hong, our tour guide, was excellent! It wasn’t just a tour to try Cambodian street food - she shared the “origin” story of each dish and that really helped us appreciate how each dish was put together and its taste. Along the way we learned about how Cambodians in the past and in the present day live and a bit about the local culture which really made the whole food tour so enriching for us. There is a lot of food to sample so please come hungry! Some of the foods are “exotic” by western standards but come with an open mind! Food hygiene was good - we didn’t have any issues with any of the foods at all - not even a twinge of discomfort during or after. It’s absolutely a marvelous tour.

We had a fantastic evening on this food tour! There was an incredible amount of food, ranging from delicious traditional dishes to some far more adventurous foods. Visiting the local markets was a highlight, and ending the evening with a cocktail was a perfect finish. Our guide Hong was wonderful. She didn’t just introduce us to Cambodian food—she explained the history, culture, and traditions behind what we were eating, which made the experience much more meaningful. Come hungry and be willing to try something new. Highly recommended!

Don't miss this! It was an unforgettable evening full of delicious authentic Cambodian food outside the typical touristy places. On my own I never would have tried or even found pretty much any of the dishes (grilled skewered stuffed frog for example or soup with snails). And you left absolutely stuffed as well, since there were so many tastings. Miss Hong, my guide, was so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and really made the whole night fun. I learned so much both about Cambodian food and culture. Our driver was also amazing—very safe and kept me comfortable the entire time. Top notch organisation as well. I booked the tour last minute through the website and it worked our great. The company contacted me immediately and was very responsive. They even ran the tour even though I was the only participant

Our tour started with a tranquil gondola trip on the lovely lake outside Angkor with Sarath. It then went up a gear as we headed to a night market by Tuk Tuk where we sampled excellent street food navigated with enthusiasm by Sarath. From there we went to a number of local restaurants serving a variety of dishes introduced with gusto by our guide Sarath. Our tour ended at the splendid Wild cocktail bar, a lovely venue with drinks to match. All the while Sarath imparted her take on Cambodian life with a level of sparkling enthusiasm which we won’t forget.

Our progressive degustation experience in Siem Reap with Urban Forage was nothing short of exceptional. The “mystery tour” concept made the night even more exciting — we loved not knowing where we were going next and being continually surprised. From the moment we started, we were treated like VIPs. Each venue offered something completely different, showcasing a range of incredible flavours and settings that we never would have discovered on our own. What really stood out was that the venues were carefully chosen not just for their food, but for their “do good” purpose supporting local communities. It made the whole experience feel even more meaningful. The attention to detail and seamless organisation made the evening feel effortless and special. This experience went above and beyond every expectation and is the perfect way to explore Siem Reap’s food scene in a unique, thoughtful, and memorable way. I booked a midweek food tour as a solo traveller and it was the best decision I made. I was the only one on the tour so my guide Rorm made sure to tailor the experience and really brought the food to life with passion and stories behind each dish. My Tuktuk driver was also incredibly kind, informative and helpful making it even more fun. We tried a variety of dishes, I was appreciative of the amount of food and knowledge of Khmer culture and experience. I felt welcome even as a barang…. Great value for money and I’d highly recommend to those solo travelling or in groups.

Our guide Rorm was great. So kind and knowledgeable about the culture and food. He took some detours to give us a special experience. The highlight was trying durian and stuffed frog. The food was plentiful and interesting and the tuk tuk was very fun.

The tour guide was exceptional - well informed, funny and obliging. The whole experience was a whole lot of fun. The food was interesting and very authentic.
