スペツェス サファリでの 2 時間の 4X4 ツアー

We were a party of four of "senior years" and arranged to go on a tour with Petros rather than cycling around the island! We had a fabulous tour. Petros picked us up in his 4x4 from right outside our hotel. He provided details about the island and about his passion for bee keeping and the vital importance of bees in extremely good English and whilst taking us on a tour to the far side of the island. There he took us to Anna's beautiful old house for a Greek cookery lesson where we learnt how to bake bread and to make spanakopita including rolling our own filo pastry! A relaxing hour on the nearby beach followed and we were then able to eat the fruits of our labours plus Anna's salad and roasted vegetables. Anna was a wonderfully welcoming hostess and the lunch was a highlight of our holiday. Finally Petros took us in his 4x4 on the old tracks which criss cross the mountains in the centre of Spetses. We experienced the wonderful fragrance of wild rosemary and the scent of pine and saw panoramic views across to the Peloponnese and the Saronic Gulf. Finally Petros delivered us back to our hotel tired but very happy! We highly recommend Petros.

I spent a week on Spetses and did three different activities with Petros and they were all absolutely wonderful ! The first was the 4x4 tour which took us around the island to hills, groves and woodlands, beautiful Churches and exquisite views. On Day 2, I learnt all about bee keeping and visited Petros’ many hives ( and dressed up for the role as he took the hive apart and explained all about bee society !).He is clearly passionate about bees and their role in preserving our planet. The honey tasting and gift bag was an extra treat ! Lastly, I had a wonderful cookery lesson with lovely Anna. We made a spanakopita ( feta and spinach pie), bread and a Greek salad and ate it on her gorgeous veranda surrounded by her pomegranate and olive trees and the scent of thyme and lavender. I highly recommend Petros - he’s knowledgable, very personable , efficient and will take you to bits of the beautiful island of Spetses you would never see otherwise ! .. and you will learn more about bees than you ever thought possible ! Fantastic !

Our family chose the cooking experience, this included a 4x4 tour of the back of the island you would not otherwise be able to see. After the drive we arrived at Anna’s house where we were greeted by her two friendly and adorable dogs. The view was beautiful! We helped her to make delicious spanakopita and home made bread. Then we were off to explore the caves! The kids loved swimming in the Bekyri cave and back to the beach at Anargyroi. What a spectacular, quiet beach! We then came back to the home for the delicious meal. We left with a gift bag full of Petros special products from his beehives. We can’t wait to try them! Thank you to our hosts for such an incredible experience!

Amazing few hours with Petros exploring the highest points of Spetses. We have been coming here for over 30 years and saw sights we didn’t know existed on our home away from home. Petros’ English is outstanding and we were often laughing as we drove to the next stop. He was a dream to work with when planning our 2 hour experience as he wanted to make sure we did everything possible. We stopped for delicious drinks and cheese/crackers/fruit provided by Petros at a beautiful spot which would be a perfect location for a wedding proposal or a romantic celebration. We give Petros 10 stars and look forward to our next experience with him (perhaps checking out his bees!). Cheers!

What an amazing experience! I am a beekeeper in Vermont and wanted to see what beekeeping was like in Greece. It turned out our entire group was curious too. So all 8 of us got to put on our bee suits, handle the frames, look for the queen, taste the amazing honey: thyme, pine, orange blossom, chestnut and the list goes on. Petros was funny and fun! Such a unique thing to do!! ❤️
