If you’re riding the East Shore Trail, do yourself a favour and rent from Vista Trail Bikes. The manager and staff were super helpful from start to finish, and the e‑bikes were in excellent condition — smooth, powerful, and perfect for the trail.
They gave us great local tips too, which made the ride even better.
I’m also officially forgiving the manager for getting my surname wrong and calling me a Groper. To be fair, he said it with confidence — and we all had a good laugh.
Highly recommended. Great people, great bikes, great day.

First time on an E-Bike at 60 years old
This was the absolute highlight of my trip to Tahoe! The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved stopping to take pictures of the turquoise/blue water that you can see right through. The neighborhood we rode through was gorgeous as well!
Be careful with turns on the bike- slow down! I’d also make sure you’re comfortable dinging the bell to alert other pedestrians of you passing.
I was a little trepidatious about booking this because I hadn’t ridden a standard bike for awhile, but I’m SO glad I did! We had a blast!!!

Heart shape rock!!!
Take the time to get your feet wet:) We walked the last beach that's 2 dollars to enter and seen fish in the clear water at lake Tahoe!

Definitely recommend
What a fun way to enjoy the incredible weather and spectacular views. We were impressed that Tahoe had a trail like this, and we wouldn’t have wanted to explore it any other way. We stopped at a handful of the coves and viewpoints and wandered sand harbor — which we weren’t able to access by car earlier that day because of crowds. The staff was also really friendly and helpful. This was our first time to Tahoe and we considered this a highlight of our trip. We absolutely recommend it.

Did not get to use...
Did not get to use E-bikes, company said they were on call for the day and when I called multiple times and messaged I got no answer or even a call or text back. Very poor communication on their behalf, was looking forward to the experience

So very Sorry! I am the owner and did not update the business info and close the store properly. My Father died and I did not think to or remember to shutter the business temporarily and effectively in order to avoid this mishap. My fault and again I apologize!

Great owners of Vista Trail Bikes!
Vista Trail Bikes-We had the best experience with this company! The owners were so nice!
They kept us company while we waited for the rest of our group and they gave us till closing time to get our bikes back… It ended up that some of us got lost on our way back. They were very accommodating.!!

Fantastic experience!!
From the beginning staff very helpful. I had issue with my reservation user error and Ted was very helpful in resolving the issue and on day of of the trip Joe the person that prepped the bikes was very helpful and informative very clear directions on where to go and how to operate bikes had all the bikes ready right after we arrived also clear direction if there were any issues with bikes (which we didn’t have)

Did not keep word on refund.
I used Viator agent to help book. Upon arrival they didn't have the equipment required and we had to go to a different bike rental shop. The employee emailed Viator to issue me a refund on the spot. But when I requested it via Viator they said the owner denied my request for a refund.

Simply not true. You booked 1 ebike. You tried to add a kids trailer upon arrival even though per the Viator listing you knew we did not even offer those for ebikes. we did nothing wrong. spend ,ore time understanding what you are ordering next time!

Bad bike ride
The e-bike did not have enough charge for the suggested ride. Had to call and get replacement bike. No price adjustment offered to compensate for the delay for
our group. The manager never called as requested. Would not recommend.
