I booked a 2 hour catamaran experience for 3rd October. We were very excited for our trip, however there was a very bad weather forecast for the day of our experience. I contacted Barcelona Sailboats twice in the week before the experience and on the day to check if the experience would go ahead, given the very bad weather forecast. I was not able to cancel it as the cancellation policy only allows Barcelona Sailboats to cancel due to bad weather. We had to go ahead with the trip otherwise we would have lost our money. The trip did go ahead, but unfortunately as soon as we left the harbour it was clear that the weather was very bad and the sea very rough. They took us to a different harbour where several of our group disembarked because the sea was so rough. We then sat in the harbour because of the storm and the trip wasnt able to continue. The storm was so bad that crew were taking pictures of the cloud formations. The terms of the booking state that: 'The total amount of the activity will be refunded in case of adverse weather conditions for navigation.' I have asked several times for a refund but received no response. I would not recommend booking with this company - they will take you out in unsafe conditions so that they can keep your money.
