We took the West Bank and east bank tours as arranged by the agent Haitham Said. He arranged for a local guide, Ali and driver, Ahmed. The tours were excellent and the guide and driver good fun to be with. Ali was patient and explained Egyptian history at the various sites. He was able to guide us as to where the best places for souvenirs was. He even helped with how and when to tip. After each day Haitham contacted us to ask about our experience, but even before we traveled to Egypt he helped us book tours in Cairo to Saqarra and the pyramids at Giza. The Egyptian museum and mosque in Cairo. From Luxor we had an additional tour to Dendara temple and Abydos. In Cairo we had the very excellent guide Essam who was probably over qualified to be our guide and taught us so much. Probably the best guide I’ve had with Ali second- just. I would recommend you arranging this tour and working with Mr Said. He made our experience so much better.
