Excellent experience
It was a great experience, so informative and interactive.

Must see, especially for Americans
This is a must see. So much of the WWII information has been lost to history especially for Americans. Then the RDFS information is extremely well done. LAN 90-120 minutes for this exhibition.

A good variety of audio visual elements telling the story of the beginning of the RFDS. Plus current stories from pilots and nurses who fly everywhere across Australia. Even stories of the bombing of Darwin in WW2. There's a decommissioned Pilatus aircraft on display that you can walk through. Mind your head. Well worth a visit.

Our pioneers certainly left an amazing legacy
The history of WWII is covered exceptional well though felt RFDS was secondary though enjoyed the overall experience and would highly recommend would also love a bit more on RFDS

Excellent film about RFDS, story well told. Good backup individual stories too. The VR set on the bombing of Darwin also brought that to life.

Great two hours spent
Hard to get to but great experience from entering to existing. Really informative and lots of interactive content. The virtual reality glasses really put you in the action for both the royal flying doctors and Darwin bombing.

Comprehensive experience
Really enjoyed our visit to the Royal Flying Doctor Service Museum in Darwin. It was interesting, easy to walk through, and had a great mix of history, stories, and interactive displays. The hologram movies experience was a highlight, and it gave us a real appreciation for the incredible work the Flying Doctor service has done across Australia. The Bombing of Darwin section was also very well done and quite moving. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place was well set up. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Darwin.
