We did inform you and all customers in advance that they must arrive at the designated meeting point at least 15 minutes before the tour starts. Our representative meets the group at that meeting point and handles the tickets/entry arrangements at the scheduled time. A Viator confirmation is not an entry ticket, so guests should not go to the temple entrance independently before meeting the guide. Because the tour has a fixed start time, any delay in meeting our representative can unfortunately affect the tour and the sightseeing time. We understand this caused you to miss part of the tour, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will continue to make our meeting instructions as clear as possible. Thank you.

That's excellent feedback about the guides — the change in the middle of the visit was, in fact, a good solution to make the most of the details. We are glad it was easy and uncomplicated. Regarding the practical advice about socks: you are absolutely right. Removing footwear at the entrance is a requirement of respect for the sacred space, and walking barefoot can be uncomfortable for some visitors, especially at certain times of the year.
