Vincent was great. Very informative. He was very patient with my young intellectually challenged son who just loved him!
Thank you so much for this kind review! It sounds like you all had a wonderful time and that means a lot to hear. Every guest brings something different to the tour and I always enjoy making the experience work for everyone in the group. Hope to see you both back in Kyoto someday!
Vincent was a wonderful guide. in addition to sharing the history and culture of the times of the Nijo Castle and Imperial Palace, he shared a lot of the general culture and gave recommendations for other sites for us to visit in Kyoto. He answered many questions we had and was a delightful guide. We really enjoyed the private tour as we felt he did a great job personalizing for our interests.
Really glad the tour felt tailored to you! That's one of the best parts of doing private tours, being able to go at your own pace and dig into whatever interests the group most. Kyoto has no shortage of great spots so I hope the recommendations led you somewhere worthwhile. Hope to see you back again someday!
Super sick experience with Vincent, he knew all the answers to our questions and was super knowledgeable about the places we went! Highly recommend.

Vincent was a wonderful tour guide. Extremely knowledgable on countries history. Far more than other guides we've had. He was constantly answering our questions about Japanese culture old and current as well. Very accommodating. Definitely choose this tour!!
Really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! Questions about both old and modern Japan are always my favorite kind because the two are so intertwined in a city like Kyoto. Glad the tour delivered and hope the rest of your trip was just as good. Come back anytime!

Thank you for the kind words, and glad you made the trip out to Kyoto! Clear explanations are something I always put a lot of thought into, so that's great to hear especially for guests traveling in a second language.
