Excellent class. Really enjoyed it. Teachers were good at helping make suggestions to balance out the perfume. I can't wait until mine fully settles and is ready.

A last minute exploration on things to do in Istanbul lead me to this perfume making workshop. From signing up, the communication on where to meet to train it over the the Asian side and meeting our instructress it was en point. Explanations and a huge variety of fragrances to choose from meant I could concoct a magical potion and have it finessed by the nose that knows to have a gorgeous keepsake which will have me remembering Turkey with every spray. Highly recommended. Loved it so much I did the lamp making course the next day.

I had a very good experience from start to finish. The team was extremely helpful, kept in touch with us throughout the process, and guided me every step of the way. They were professional, well-organized, and very helpful!! The course itself was excellent. The instructors were highly skilled, supportive, and made the learning experience both enjoyable and valuable. I would definitely recommend this course to everyone!!

Love, love, loved it! This was one of our most favorite experiences in Istanbul. My kids (son and daughter age 12) and I loved the perfumes we customized and made from essential oils and alcohol. Our instructor was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and gave just the right amount of interesting and educational lesson without it becoming too overwhelming. She was so kind and patient, and I appreciate that she spent time with every individual person in the entire class to help customize a blended scent that was uniquely suited for that person. There were so many scents to choose from, we spent 45 minutes just smelling and experimenting with scent combinations. It was very fun, and we each got to take home our 50ml custom scent in a nice bottle with a recipe to be able to easily recreate it at home. Highly recommend this activity! Also, they offer many other workshops which look fun (stained glass, leather, mosaic), and it could be cool to book multiple classes if you’re interested in that. One note about logistics- when I booked on Viator the address shown (European side) was not the same as the workshop location (Asian side). They offer an option to meet on the European side about 30 minutes earlier and they provide the metro transportation and walk you to the workshop location. Or you can go directly to the workshop location yourself. So be sure you check your email and WhatsApp text messages for more updated meeting instructions after booking. Also for those guests who may be sensitive to smoking, you should be aware that there are cafe tables right next to the perfume workshop which is outdoors and some guests there smoke. I found that conflicted with me trying to smell and make my perfume as I am not used to breathing secondhand smoke. One suggestion might be to make the cafe area non-smoking (at least during the perfume workshop since it affects the smells).

Believe all the five star reviews! This was such a delightful way to spend a couple of hours on our Istanbul vacation. Mustafa gives very clear information and directions for crafting your own perfume. Even though our group was large, he provided specific personalized guidance to every participant. Our finished bottles of perfume are beautiful and will be such a fun reminder of our trip.

Fantastic experience. There were several notes to choose from and we had simple expert guidance from a knowledgeable and enthusiastic host. It was fun interacting with participants from all over the world and sharing the love of perfumery. Highly recommend

The perfume-making workshop was a highlight of my trip! It was fascinating to learn the art of balancing different notes and blending my own unique fragrance. The selection of essences was high quality, and the atmosphere was perfectly creative. I left with a custom perfume that serves as the perfect souvenir of Istanbul. A must-do for anyone looking for a unique, sensory experience!

What a fun experience. They are very organized - from the emails, to someone meeting up with you to get you there , to the class itself. Friendly people. Great environment. A fun thing to do. Learn about and you get your own bottle of perfume! I took the steps ahead and looked up a perfume I used to love and what were the scents, so I could try and create something similar. We will see! It has to be in the fridge for 3 days before trying.

Very warm welcome at the location, learned more than expected also about the build up of a parfume. The host was most friendly, took the time to help, all good and the three of us would book it again!
