Safari
Vehicle was not of the greatest standard,
But the most disappointing thing was the guides,
they did barely interact with us when we asked questions we were either ignored or given a two word answer.
Luckily this was not our first safari so we know it is possible to get much better experience with guides who have better knowledge and are prepared to interact with you.
I would strongly recommend they work on their communication skills and learn a little more knowledge of the wildlife.

I definitely do not recommend it.
The private, fully paid-for safari turned out to be completely different from what was advertised. We encountered a dirty vehicle that had to be push-started, a lack of funds for fuel, a demand for additional payment, and a shortened itinerary. We have photos and full documentation. A huge disappointment.

Super experience!
We just came back, and it was absolutely AMAZING. Thanks to Chris and Festus who made this Safari so great. Very kind, helpfull, great driver and guide.
We did a 3 day 2 nights safar to TSAVO East and West. Booked directly by BabyBird and all was great!!

Amazing Kenyan Safari
We booked 2 night/ 3 day safari with baby bird. The driver and Chris were lovely. We had good communication before we arrived in Kenya. (Take mosquito spray, long trousers and long sleeved top for early morning safari)
We requested 2 nights at salt lick but one turned out to be at Taita Hills resort, which to be fair was just as nice. Beautiful surroundings. Both hotels were great- clean, good food, welcoming staff.
Baby bird had clear agenda and were always on time to collect us and drop us off. The Jeep was fun, quite old and full of character, just want is needed when on safari. Lots of water provided throughout.
The team did there best to show us all the animals in both Tsavo East and Taita Hill reserve. We were very luck and saw so many an amazing animals, it was like being in a wild life documentary, ,including a female lion, serval, mongoose, male lion and 4 cubs waiting for their mother… it was a dream! The team told us lots about all the animals and had great knowledge. They were quiet on day one- and so were we, but as we asked more questions it got better- ask questions! We had a great time! Good value for money. Would recommend highly. Thank you- we also got great photos!
