Dove with dive instructor Khoa 2 October 2025 and he and the entire team were Phenomenal!! A lot of personalized attention, care and guidance with all of the equipment and instruction, and beautiful dives where I could see a broad variety of colorful fish, coral amidst spectacular scenery. Highly recommend!

Had a blast today out in the water. Matt was my instructor and he was great! I haven’t gone for a dive in 10 years and Matt was extremely patient and helpful. He made my experience one of a kind. The atmosphere and vibe was amazing and I cannot thank all the staff enough. Worth the money for sure. Trying to book another dive for tomorrow! Visability was way better than I expected it to be.

We were diving on 2 days with Vietnam Active. On 1. Day with the Big Boat and the snorkelers and on 2. Day only for four and guide at the rock Hon bac. Since the water in Nha Trang is cooler (24-26 degrees C), there is no coral bleaching but intact reefs. Visibility 10-13 meters. Both times we dived with Mike and the same Buddies. Small group, then. Mike was very careful and guided us safely as an Advanced even through small caves. Service was very good, hotel pickup, boats were top, food good and on 1. Day as a buffet. Can we recommend

I participated for two days. The visibility wasn’t that high, but the Guides were really caring and fun to dive 😁 Of course the instructions were in English, but they spoke slowly and politely, so we had no problem✨ Also, when we visited Nha Trang, we wanted to participate⭐️

Yesterday I went on two fun dives for certified divers in the Southern islands off Phu Quoc Island. I had a fantastic time. The team were very professional, yet friendly and helpful. The diving instructor, Thai, was a great guide and took photos of each of us during the dive, for us to keep. The reef was very healthy with a wonderful array of corals, which is hard to find these days as many of the reefs around the world are bleached and dying - not the case in Phi Quoc! I would thoroughly recommend Vietnam Active PADI dive tours! Until the next time, all the best! Tim

It was a wonderful experience. When you make a reservation, you can enter the hotel where you plan to stay and they will pick you up at around 7am. The first place was a Korean boat that was playing loud club music at a loud volume. It was quite annoying, but it couldn't be heard in the sea, so it was fine. We dived at two different points. I didn't show my PADI open sea license, but I asked them if that was okay. They said that the course I applied for was one that you can dive without a license, so I paid the difference and they quickly transferred me to the advanced course. For the second dive, we dived quite deep (about 18m?), there were various fish in the water, and the course through the cave was amazing. There were various fish living in the cave, and it was a very moving experience. On the way back, we had lunch, such as banh mi, where each person could pick up their own ingredients and eat them. There was no need to pick them up with chopsticks as in other reviews, and there was no need to eat on another boat. We ate on the boat on the way back. The meal was very delicious because we were very hungry after the exercise. The tour ends around 1:30pm and we take you back to your hotel. Finally, if you are participating without a PADI Open Sea License, please be sure to learn about: 1) How to bleed air from your ears 2) What to do if water gets into your goggles It is a good idea to study the above on the internet or through videos before participating.
