Everything as expected except for parking $10 and launch fees $15 i think don’t really remember. This should be better communicated when purchasing. You don’t really have a choice once you’re there.
The fees are posted on the listing on TripAdvisor and Viator under what’s not included. We are VERY clear that they are listed there. We would Love to include include in pricing and put it in your payment but TRIPADVISOR does more allow that. We 1,000% disagree with their policy but we can not change it. Thank you for understanding
I recently went kayaking and it was a really enjoyable experience. The kayak was stable and easy to control, which made it great for beginners. Being out on the water was very relaxing, and it was a nice way to spend time outdoors and enjoy the scenery. Paddling took a little bit of effort at first, but once I got the hang of it, it felt smooth and fun. Overall, kayaking was a great activity that I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys being outside and trying something active.

We had such an excellent experience with our kayak rental. The staff were welcoming and kind, and they made the whole on-boarding process smooth and easy. We were provided with a map to take with us. We loved that this was a dog-friendly rental and our two pups could come on the kayak with us. The kayaks had excellent seats with adjustable back support, which was an absolute game changer from all the kayaks that we rented in the past at other places. We can only highly recommend this place, and will come back here if we're in Crystal River in the future. Thank you!

Was fun , my husband and I rented a tandem kayak, we are both senior citizens in our seventies, it was our first time kayaking, our kayak operator put us at ease with instructions how to get in and out and how to use the paddles, we love kayaking so much now, can’t wait to go back to Crystal River and kayak again.

Great experience. Kayak rental made it easy to be able to kayak to the springs. Saw so many manatees! When one of our kayaks tipped over, RJ, a tour guide who happened to be near with his group, kindly helped us out. Thanks so much RJ!

During our Christmas vacation we drove from Tampa to Crystal River to watch Manatees from the water. Since there were three of us, we decided to use a double and a single kayak from Paddle Outdoor Rentals. The check-in was quick, everyone was very friendly and at pains. There is also a small souvenir shop where you can buy a wide range of waterproof mobile phone cases. If you don't want to buy your own, you can also rent. From there it is only a short drive to the water where you take over the kayak and get a waterproof map. It's a lot of fun to paddle and watch the manatees up close. Maneuvering between boats, groups of swimmers, barriers and of course the manatees can sometimes be a little tricky. But it's really a lot of fun! I'm sure we'll paddle again. For us, however, 3h was still more than enough

We had a wonderful time. We saw manatees , turtles , fish and baby alligators. The weather was great and the water felt amazing.

Crazy crowded with loud obnoxious people and boats. Didn’t see any fish or manatees.., and then a storm blew up 1 1/2 hours into it. Waste of money and an afternoon
You booked a kayak rental in June when it is NOT manatee season! You gave us two stars about complaints that had nothing to do with us. A. Too many people and boats B. A storm came in C. No fish or manatees You can’t be serious…First off, how in the world do we control if someone else who happens to be on the same body of water as you is obnoxious?!?!? Do you know how ridiculous you really sound? In addition, there are literally hundreds of fish JUMPING out of the water every single day… and on our TOURS people see manatees most days because they are with a guide. Maybe you should try visiting a zoo or reading a book on your next “adventure” and if you think it’s crowded here in Summer, then maybe you should try Disney so you can wait in line for 3 hours to ride one ride. Give me a break and try smoking more. It’s awesome!!!!
