The guide really assisted us in any detail. He helped us managing the fatigue by stopping always at the right moment, he gave us food and liquids to reintegrate the energies. The guide explained us any detail of what we were seeing, from rocks, to any form o vegetal and animal, to ruins. The arrival to Machiu Picchiu was very emotional. What an excursion!
It was a long journey for me and my friends coming all the way from hiking in Patagonia, but Ruben and his wife gave us such a warm welcome that we forgot how tired we were. They made our time in Cusco so special and helped us enjoy the city so much. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and kind throughout our stay. I’d definitely love to come back to Cusco and explore more of Peru in the future.

Amazing trip! Ruben is very clear with his itinerary he makes for you, and it makes it so easy when he books everything for you, from train/bus tickets, to meals, to Machu Pichu entrance fees. He is also very quick to respond and flexible when you want certain things done differently with your itinerary. We actually spent 2 nights in Aguas Calientes and he was able to help make this happen. I would recommend the same, as this way we were able to have more time to relax and enjoy the beautiful town of Aguas Calientes. This package is best if you want a cheap, reliable, and fun tour, while saving lots of time on booking everything individually yourself! We also had an amazing tour guide, Amadeo. He was great. Me, my girlfriend, brother, and two cousins all had an amazing time this trip. Personally, we chose to spend the first 5 days of our vacation in Cusco city, exploring on our own, and then for the last 2 days of our trip, we had South Adventure Peru Tours organize our Short Inca Trail adventure, where just about everything was planned by Ruben and his team.

We were in a group of 15 people of different ages from 9 years to 76, family and friends! They always kept an eye on our needs and did everything possible to enjoy the trip! the path of the Inca and the arrival at the sun gate is amazing
Agency and guide very helpful. we get tickets to Machu Picchu and the trail with facilities. Trail was a unique and unparalleled experience, which we highly recommend to all interested people. Other activities were all more than enough, such as food and accommodation. I recommend the agency and Guia Augustto!!

A warm welcome with coca tea, a clean and like-new SUV, safe driver, we spent 2 days in the Sacred Valley (lower altitude than Cusco makes it easier to get used to the altitude) and visited many amazing sites. Our guide Ernesto is truly an exceptional guide: Great and easy going personality, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about the Inca culture, history, fauna and flora, astronomy and archaeology that guided the Inca architects and builders. He studied for 5 years to become a guide with this level of expertise. Ernesto took us to excellent restaurants, even organic cuisine. We hiked the Inca trail and Ernesto was very helpful especially that my husband was not feeling well in the morning. He helped carry his backpack and gave him his poles to use. The visit to Macchu Picchu was amazing, avoiding wasting time and lines. In Cusco Ernesto gave us a half day tour that covered all the important sites and history, and recommended a museum for us to visit in the afternoon. Last but not least, Tatiana rushed to us with some coca tea early morning in Cusco when we suffered from the altitude. We were so grateful. On the last day Ruben picked us up at 6 AM to take us to the bus station to go to Puno. We have traveled to 90 countries and taken tours, hired guides; this team stands out on every front.

My family and I went to Peru for two weeks through South Adventure Peru and had an incredible experience. We spent three days in Lima, four days in the Amazon, Cusco, and the Sacred Valley, where we spent two nights. From there, we took tours such as the Sacred Valley, horseback riding in Maras, Moray, and the salt mines. We then hiked the short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. While in Cusco, we also took a walking and private city tour, a two-day tour and hike to Humantay Lake and the Salkantay Pass, and finally, our vacation ended with a wonderful three-day trip to Lake Titicaca. Ruben (our host) organized and planned this amazing trip with great care from the beginning to the end of our stay in Peru. He took care of booking first-class hotels and personalized tours with super friendly guides who were knowledgeable about all the history and culture of the Incas. In Lima, we met Fernando, who very kindly greeted us at the airport and was always attentive to my family. Everything was well-planned, with spacious and relatively new vehicles, attentive drivers, and a super professional staff. We felt very safe. We loved Peruvian food, especially the ceviche in Lima, and also the food in the Amazon. We are very grateful and happy to have hired a local company that takes such good care of you. Puno is a small city, but there isn't much to see except for Lake Titicaca and the opportunity to interact with the local people on both islands. Overall, everything was extremely well-organized, just as they promised, and we will not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone planning a similar experience
