Hola Africa, Thank you for a wonderful unforgettable experience in Nyerere National Park. Our wonderful guide (see photo) showed us the beauties of this park. both the animals and the beautiful nature that this park offers. 2 full days of safari were amazing. When our guide told us in the morning that he would show us something, he kept it. He did his best to make us happy and to make sure that we never forgot this experience. What we never even dreamed of was that we would be so close to the animals. Lionesses 3 meters from us. The guide is a true professional, he told us interesting facts about each animal that we had never heard before. How to recognize a male giraffe, that giraffes are called Miss Africa, that Pumba eating on his knees, that hippos do not swim but walk on the bottom. and countless other things. The walking safari with the bushman Didi was also an experience. Asante once again and we hope that we will come back here again, if so, only to you again.

We did a two day safari, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Everything was very well organised from the beginning, which meant we could just relax and enjoy it. Hamza, our guide, and Awam, our driver, worked brilliantly together. They were incredibly good at spotting animals. Often they would notice something far off in the distance that we would have completely missed, then carefully drive us closer so we could really see it properly. Thanks to them, we saw giraffes, lions, buffaloes, elephants, impalas, zebras, crocodiles, gnus, warthogs, and so many beautiful birds. In the evening we stopped by a lake where different animals gradually came down to drink. Zebras, impalas, giraffes and other animals gathered there and we were able to sit quietly and just watch it all. It was a really special scene to witness. Hamza was always happy to answer questions and explain what we were seeing. He also kept us informed about the plan, what was next and how the two days would unfold, which made everything feel smooth and easy. A sincere thank you to Hamza and Awam for making those two days so special, and to Team Hola Africa for organising everything so well.

What an amazing experience! It started with the flight in a Cessna to the National Park. It immediately gave the 'Out of Africa' feeling, especially with the landing on a sand track built near the park. There the Jeep with guide Hamza and driver Shija was already waiting. After the briefing and some paperwork we went straight out. We soon see Baboons, Impalas and Giraffes. We drink coffee and some goodies from the hood at a lake where we meet an Elephant:-) On the way we use a 'Bush toilet and we have lunch under a 3000 year old Baobab tree. We drive more than 150 km. through various landscapes and spot a lot of game including Hippos, Wildebeast, warthogs, Zebras, crocodiles and as icing on the cake lions and the rare African wild dogs. Hamza and Shija are great, there is no effort too much for them to give us a great day. And that is also thanks to them completely succeeded! The Selous Nyerere National Park is less known as e.g. the Serengeti and Ngorongoro park. As a result, it is much less crowded but with more than enough diversity and wildlife. We really liked that.

Just incredible! Everything was so smooth. Our guide was incredible. It was a private safari, private bush walk and group boat safari,over two days. Right from the beginning it was a very pleasant experience, our guide Shija took us on the game drive right away, provided lots of useful information and always put us in the best positions for pictures! It was a very fascinating experience to get close to all those wild animals!! Next morning we were surprised with a walking tour through the jungle by a bushman who told us a lot about the natural medicine growing just around the corner and also gave us a little insight into rituals of his people! Last came the boatcruise which was also wonderful, plenty of Hippokrates, crocodiles and exotic birds! Thank you Hola Africa, thank you Shija for this amazing experience!!!

Incredible experience! From start to finish, everything was seamless and well-organized. The flight in was breathtaking, and our guide was amazing—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the wildlife and park. We saw so many animals up close, including lions, elephants, and giraffes. The safari exceeded all our expectations and gave us memories that will last a lifetime. What a great experience, everything was perfect, from start to finish. This was a bucket list trip. Our driver Ellie (who actually has literally the longest name ever) and guide was an absolute legend and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our son is 11 and he affectionately referred to him as Simba throughout, which has stuck. He knew everything about every kind of animal, tree, plant and bush and we saw everything we wanted to and more. He hands down made this even better for us, and is an absolute star and credit to his job

We have just returned from a two day safari to the Nyerere/Selous National Park. We flew in from Zanzibar and was met by our guide Nassiry Mbonde. We were in a vesicle for six people which had plenty of room and comfortable seats, Nassiry told us to help ourselves to the various drinks in the cool box on board. After a short information/safety talk, Nassiry started our trip…..after a very short time we soon saw many animals, each time Nassiry shared good information about each animal and answered any of our questions with confidence. During our morning we were so impressed with the amount of animals and tracks Nassiry took us on to find these. Nassiry’s talent of spotting animals was second to none and during the morning most of the ‘big five’ had been spotted!!!! We stopped late morning for refreshments which was very welcome then began our search again! After more sightings we stopped near a hippo watering hope to have our lunch which Nassiry took attention to detail on setting a wonderful lunch for our group! The food was delicious and more than we expected from a lunch in the middle of the bush! After lunch we began our trip again and we thought we couldn’t do better than our morning but Nassiry ensured that the afternoon was just as impressive we are so happy and shocked with the amount of animals we saw within our day! Nassiry was respectful to the animals keeping a distance but also giving us the best views. He was a talented driver manovering the vehicle on various terrains and always asking the group if they were ok! We cannot recommend this safari enough we had the most wonderful time and the experience was fantastic from beginning to end. Nassiry you were fabulous and have helped to make our safari time one we will treasure as a family forever, thank you for being a fantastic guide!!
