I had an amazing weekend with Daniel and Joe! As a solo female traveller they were very professional and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed every experience except maybe the first stop felt a little bit too "touristy" for me and Shai. Highly recommend, if you love nature and fresh air

I did the 3-day Volta Region tour and it was the perfect amount of time to explore the area. Three days allowed us to see a lot without feeling rushed, and I felt I really got a good sense of the region. Daniel, the guide, was extremely professional and always made sure I had the best possible experience. Beyond that, he is very cultured, great to talk to, and has a wonderful sense of humor, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable. Joseph, the driver, was simply the best — and definitely the funniest driver ever. If you’re looking for a genuine Ghanaian experience with a great team, I highly recommend booking with Kwame Tour.

We were supposed to be dropped back at our hotel. Instead, we ended up at a mall on a busy road because the car had a minor issue, which honestly didn’t surprise us since the driver was speeding around like a maniac the entire trip. They acted like arranging an Uber for us was a favour, only for us to find out later we were charged more than double the normal rate. If they had communicated anything, we would’ve just booked our own taxi. The car itself wasn’t really appropriate for the type of roads we drove on. The driver and guide were friendly, but not professional. It felt like they had never done this tour before. They spent more time taking photos and enjoying the trip themselves than actually guiding us. Very little explanation or information. We also had to ask for basic things like water and snacks. One of the activities was skipped and the guesthouse was not arranged upfront and therefore we had to sleep at the same spot twice (we were supposed to switch locations). And the lunch setup was honestly strange: two separate stops, first for our food, then for theirs. It added unnecessary time and felt awkward.

We had a great time with Daniel and Daniel. They made sure we were safe and well taken care of. They never hesitated to adjust our schedule as it fit for us. They were lighthearted and fun to be around. Everything was as advertised. Great time.

In August I had the pleasure of taking a private tour of the Volta Region in Ghana, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Both my guide and driver, both named Daniel, were exceptional in every way. They ensured I saw all the beautiful spots I had hoped to visit, while also being attentive to my personal preferences and interests. They thought along with me about what I might enjoy, always making sure I was comfortable and happy. Additionally, they suggested extra stops to visit whenever we had some extra time, ensuring I got the most out of every moment. As a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. Daniel and Daniel were both open, and approachable, embodying the true spirit of hospitality. They were gentlemen in every sense, always respectful and considerate. At the same time, they were keen to give me the space I needed, allowing me to enjoy moments of solitude when I wanted to take a step back. This made the experience all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend this private tour for anyone wanting to explore the Volta Region. It’s a true gem of an experience.

Kwame is honestly the best - not just a great guide but a wonderful person and you will always have a good time when he’s around. We did Mt. Afadjato and Wli waterfalls and I spent some time at his compound in his village. He showed me so much love during my time there and is always there for you if you need him. 100% recommend him for anything you want to do in Ghana 🇬🇭

It was a very varied and interesting tour. Climbing mountains, beautiful views, swimming in waterfalls, walking through forest areas, staying by the water... lots of impressions that give you a good idea of the country of Ghana. The driver Mike was very experienced and you felt very well looked after every minute and if you had any questions he always helped and took your wishes into account. Guide Daniel took care of hotel accommodation, sorted out the food and finances so that you really didn't have to worry about anything. It was a relaxed atmosphere and a very interesting time. Mike and Kwame were fantastic guides for a solo woman in her late 50s! Everything was set up so well, people were expecting us, things went as planned, on time, and it was so relaxing for me to not have to lift a finger. I felt completely and utterly safe and worry-free the entire time. As for these two men: well, I cannot say enough about them and especially Mike, since I spent two full days with him, and just 1/2 a day with Kwame, we’re so easy to hang out with and learn everything about Ghana through their wise-for-their-years perspectives. They were honest and just so approachable. Really, they made the experience more than any single thing I saw or did. That said, I loved, loved, loved the river ride, the hike in Shai hills, the friendly monkeys, Cedi Beads, the Kente cloth weavers, and the botanical gardens. I just so appreciate Kwame for arranging a tour that was varied and interesting, without feeling rushed, I feel like I saw and experienced so much of Ghana in just 2 days! I can’t recommend it and Kwame and his team enough. They will provide you a firsthand experience with Ghanaian nature, people, and culture that is worth every penny. I have been to Ghana few times.Mostly I make simple trips to many places until a feiend of mine introduced me to Kwame. He put up a plan to the Volta Region. since he is from there, it makes it simple for navigation..i love the natural and fresh nature of the place.I enjoy hiking very much and there are 3 Mountains there.. , Gemi, Afadjato and of course Wli upper falls that provides a perfect pick for me.I also got the chance to enjoy the Volta lake at Maranatha Beach Camp in Ada.
