If you want to visit Transylvania but only have a short amount of time in Romania (we were there for only 3 nights), if you like private or small group tours rather than a cheap big bus ride with commentary you can hardly hear, if you want a friendly knowledgeable guide who leaves you enough free time in each location to wander the streets, then this is the tour for you! Hits all the highlights - Peles Castle, Brasov, Sighisoara and Bran Castle. The travel time between places often takes longer than you think, because of the road conditions and the traffic. Staying overnight in Sighisoara is the way to go. You get to enjoy one of the prettiest medieval towns without the crowds of day trippers. Eddie is a wonderful guide. We enjoyed his company and his insights into everyday Romanian life and recent current events (on top of his commentary on the history of the country, region and individual sites).
