Great fun! Jody was an awesome teacher :)
Absolutely incredible experience! Booked a beginner surf lesson on the Gold Coast and it exceeded every expectation. Alex was so patient — explained everything clearly from the safety basics to the pop-up technique, and never made me feel rushed even though I'm a complete beginner. By the end of the session I actually managed to stand up and ride a few waves, which I honestly didn't think I'd manage on day one. The whole vibe was relaxed, friendly and encouraging. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try surfing for the first time. Can't wait to come back!

This was a real beginners guide to surfing and exactly what we needed during our visit to the stunning Gold Coast. Our instructor was patient and friendly - and to our surprise even got us standing up and riding the waves despite it being our first ever experience on a board!
Awesome experience having a surf lesson with my 11yo on a beautiful gold coast day. Well run activity and great fun. You won't be disappointed! Will definitely do it again whenever we venture back that way for another holiday.
Great experience for us, family of 3 (one adult with a 17-year old and a 12-year old boys) to take the first step of learning surfing. We all can stand on the board under the coach from Jody’s team. They are nice, friendly and patient to teach you the technique and fine-tune your every attempt. They can even help you create memory with their FREE photo service, no more extra dodgy charge. Two thumb-up and strongly recommended to all beginners.
I had my first surfing experience with my husband and son with Australian Surfing Adventures on Christmas Eve and we all had such a great time. The lesson was well organised with easy to follow instructions and guidance provided at the beginning. The instructors were very friendly, encouraging and fantastic with my 7 year old son, providing one-on-one assistance with him throughout the lesson. I now have the 'surfbug' and am looking forward to my next surf lesson!
