The tour was excellent. Our agent hadn't requested an ebike for my wife, but escape sorted it without any fuss. The bikes were well maintained and David, our guide was informative and friendly. He also managed the group exceptionally well, keeping everyone safe and at a pace that suited the whole group. Highly recommended
Great experience! Allison was such a lovely guide. Saw so much of Ottawa in these 2 hrs - amazing!
We chose to do the Ottawa 2hr bike tour as a family of four, with two teenage children. The bikes were great and easy to ride and Allison, our tour guide, was both knowledgable and lovely. We all really enjoyed the trip and got to see so many parts of Ottawa within the two hours. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for choosing our 2‑hour Ottawa bike tour and for taking the time to share your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that the bikes were comfortable and easy to ride for your whole family, including your teenagers, and that you enjoyed your time with our great guide Allison. Dave took us on a tour of this beautiful city, sharing history, showing us beautiful scenery and led the group at a pace that all levels could enjoy. Great day!

The 2-hour bike tour was the perfect way to get to know Ottawa. The bikes are in excellent condition and make cycling very easy. Our guide Ellen delighted us not only with historic events, but also told us about real life in Ottawa and gave us great tips. The group size was perfect, and we got to see a lot of the city in relatively short time. I can highly recommend this tour to any visitors!
Dear Jutta, Thank you for your wonderful review and vote of confidence! It means a lot to us! We are so glad the two hour tour with our amazing guide Ellen gave you such a well rounded feel for Ottawa —the history and the present local life. Happy to hear you found our bikes in excellent condition and comfortable to ride! Warm regards, The Escape Team & Maria :)
It was a great bicycle ride. The ebikes were in good condition and Ellen, our guide, was very personable and knowledgeable about the area and its history. Saw quite a few sites, biked about 8 miles on mostly flat terrain and bike paths. It was safe and fun.
Dear Carmen, Thank you so much for your very kind words and recommendation! Our routes are designed to make the most of Ottawa's flat terrain and dedicated bike paths. We are so glad the combination of great e-bikes, interesting sites and Ellen's knowledge of the area made for such an enjoyable ride. We hope Ottawa leaves a lasting impression and that we get to be part of your next visit! Warm regards, The Escape Team & Maria :)
We only had one day in Ottawa and wanted to get a quick tour that didn’t include sitting on a bus. We saw so much more than we could have on a walking tour! Our guide, Dave, was very knowledgeable about the local history. The bikes were in excellent condition and comfortable. It was easy to find. It is worth the money! We are not seasoned cyclist and we thought this was a wonderful experience!
Dear Sarah, Thank you for the wonderful review! Making Ottawa accessible and enjoyable for all levels of riders is something we truly pride ourselves on and we are so glad the tour delivered on that. Covering the city's history, landmarks and hidden gems in a single day on two wheels is exactly what our tours are designed to do, and we are so glad you found and chose us. We hope to welcome you back again someday! Warm regards, The Escape Team & Maria :)
Incredibly professional and yet completely relaxed. Good and suitable bicycles, including helmets, were prepared for all family members. Naomi, our guide, led us clearly and safely through all the stops and conveyed the history of Ottawa with humor and enthusiasm. A perfect start for further city exploration.
Thank you for this lovely review! Getting every family member set up with the right bike and helmet before heading out is something we always take the time to do — it makes a real difference to the overall experience. We are so glad Naomi's knowledge and humor made the history of Ottawa so enjoyable and that the tour gave you such a great foundation for exploring the rest of the city. We really appreciate your visit and very kind recommendation! Warm regards, The Escape Team & Maria :)
Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed this cycle tour with Denis. It was a bit of a drizzly day and we were immediately given Canada ponchos, which I loved! The tour was prompt and great fun. We stopped at several points along the way to look at historical places and Denis was really interesting. We learned so much about Canada and Ottawa. Two hours was great to see major sights and plan where to go later on our trip. The bikes and helmets were good quality and well looked after. A must do in Ottawa and thank you Denis.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! A rainy day is no problem when you are well equipped — and we are glad the ponchos did the trick! We strive to make our tours both informative and enjoyable, and it is great to hear that two hours with Denis gave your family such a solid base for the rest of your Ottawa trip. We greatly appreciate your visit and your very kind words. Warm regards, The Escape Team & Maria :)
Naomi was a great guide and we had a good ride! The length and distance were perfect.
