We had a private two-day tour with Mert. The tour was amazing and Mert is very knowledgeable on the history. He tailored the trip to what we wanted to do and see. His driver had a very safe driving demeanor which was very welcome. We did the red and green tours and loved every minute of it. We learned so much history with Mert! He also brought us for lunch to a place where I ate the best kebab sandwich I had ever eaten in Turkey! I strongly recommend Mert and Touchstone travel. They are very professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, friendly and reliable.

Mert is a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide with whom we enjoyed 2 full days of wonderful and history-rich Cappadocia. Great English. He was flexible to accommodate our demands to ensure that we had the best possible experience. He is well connected and able to get deals and opportunities with shows, balloon rides, etc. In summary, an ideal private tour guide.

We had an incredible two-day tour in Cappadocia and can’t recommend this experience enough. Harun, our guide, was a standout—so knowledgeable, charming, and genuinely fun to be around. We enjoyed our first day with him so much that we specifically asked to have him guide us again on day two. He brought the history of the region to life and made the whole experience even more memorable. Cappadocia itself is stunning—the landscapes are unlike anywhere else. Harun’s restaurant recommendations were excellent, and we had some of the most delicious kebabs of our trip. A special shoutout to Mert, the owner, who was extremely flexible and accommodating. We met other travelers at our hotel who wanted to join, and Mert made it happen with no fuss. If you’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and professional tour company in Cappadocia, this is the one.

Before I came to Cappadocia, a few people told me it was too touristy ! Yes it has a lot of tourists , but I m one too , and one that is inspired , utterly amazed and happy . I only had 1.5 day but my tour guide Mert made it so that I managed to enjoy some of the best Cappadocia has to offer . From the obvious place like the underground city, balloon ride at sunrise to the off track old churches with thousands of year old frescoes ! Mert was professional, knowledgeable, polite and friendly . I had been a bit concerned about being an older woman traveling alone in Turkey but thanks to Mert my experience in Cappadocia was perfect ! Strongly recommend this tour for those who have a short time .

I had an amazing 2-day tour in Cappadocia as a solo traveler. My guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the trip. I learned so much about the history and culture of the places we visited, and every moment was enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable experience in Cappadocia!

Mert was absolutely brilliant - we did two days with him of the red tour and green tour. The tours were informative, flexible to our needs, and timed to perfection. In fact, even though it snowed the second day, Mert showcased his flexibility and took us to places that were accesible and done wonderfully. The best touch was when he told a personal story about his family’s connection. Mert made this a great experience for us and our teenager (14) daughter.

We had an amazing experience! Mert, our driver & guide was very kind, warm & friendly, helpful, informative & knowledgeable. All the sites that we visited (Red & Green tours) were all outstanding. The scenic views of Pasabag & Zelve Open air museum are spectacular, the underground city is unique & fascinating! We had a lovely hike in Ihlara valley as it provides a serene and calming experience. Overall, highly recommended!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
