We really enjoyed our tour with Hana! She is extremely friendly and has so much knowledge over the subject matter. Additionally, it was fascinating getting perspective from Hana and her experiences as she grew up in the former Czechoslovakia. Overall, we would highly recommend this tour if you want to see Prague through a historical lens, learn some new things, and have great conversations. Thank you Hana!

The tour was a great way to learn some important parts of Czechia history. Hana was our guide and it was very informative hearing from someone who had grown up in Prague. She was a teacher and a very good guide. There was only 7 people on our tour so it was nice and intimate and went for about 3 hours. Highly recommend for people wanting something different than a typical walking tour around old town.

great tour. Lots of inside information. Hana is very warm and full of information not just about the subject, but many other topics of interest. The small group makes the tour very enjoyable as you get to ask many questions and have thoughtful discussions.

What a wonderful private tour. You will hear a lot about what the Second World War was like or how it was experienced from the residents of Prague and Czechoslovakia themselves. Instead of a general story, Jiri is clearly also very interested and motivated by the story behind each person who experienced the Second World War up close. Through his many interviews and experiences with these people, Jiri takes you on a tour that offers much more perspective than the standard tour, which resembles a history lesson. Jiri is also a nice guy who is up for a nice chat during the tour and who also likes to give some nice tips for your further trip. If you are looking for a unique World War II tour (even for people who don't know much about history), then this tour is for you. Keep asking Jiri questions because he has an incredible amount to tell.

This a must if you are traveling to Prague. Jiri did an incredible job showing us the history of Prague during WW2. Would not miss this.

If you do only one guided tour while in Prague, make it this WWII walking tour. Hands down, Jiri was the single best tour guide we had on our entire vacation! From the very beginning, Jiri brought history to life in a way no textbook ever could. His depth of knowledge surrounding WWII, the Nazi occupation, and local Czech resistance history is staggering, but what really sets him apart is his energy. His passion for sharing these stories is genuine and contagious—you can’t help but be completely captivated from start to finish. We walked away having learned so much context about the city and its history that we never would have discovered on our own. Jiri answered every question with unbelievable insight and made the entire experience deeply engaging and meaningful. Do not hesitate to book this—and specifically ask for Jiri! You will not regret it.

What a fabulous choice of tour. Jiri is an exceptional guide. He has a lot of knowledge of the intricacies of the situation around Prague during and after WW2. He has a deep knowledge that he shares freely of Prague but also of international rsponses to the developing situation in Europe especially Prague. He has and convets his deep understanding of what people especially Jewish people went through at the time, The most impressive part is that his passion keeps on going to find and interview childen who were rescued by Nicholas Winton from sure death by the Nazi regime in Prague, I most defintely recommend this tour with Jiri.
