We booked a taxi ride from Ella to Weligama. On our way to Weligama, we also went to Udawalawe National Park. Our guide was Asanka and he was the best!! Put your started around 11 and even though it was during the day, we saw so many elephants, birds, buffalos and more! He's been doing this job for the last 24 years so he KNOWS what he's doing. He literally knew which what a group of elephants (including a baby!) is going and we got the best shot! Highly recommend doing this activity with Lakpura leisure and Asanka. They are very accommodating! The best way to do it is either email or sent a message through WhatsApp, they will plan a trip for you!
