On January 25th and 26th this year we had the pleasure of having Samar as our guide in Luxor. She was superb. We started with a great intro day at Karnak and the Luxor Temple. Even better the next day at Valley of the Kings. Not only did she give insightful presentations (in perfect English) but she also has a wonderful sense of humor! Samar was very patient about indulging us by taking lots of pictures of my wife and I at various sites. She also gave good restaurant recommendations in Luxor as well and gave my wife great shopping suggestions. In sum, if you're traveling in Luxor, try to arrange for Samar to be your guide- she will immeasurably enhance your visit.

Sumhar was our guide for a 2-day tour in Luxor, and she was fantastic! Super friendly, motivated, and full of great explanations. She even took us to try the local fast food, which we loved! We visited the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Valley of the Kings, Karnak, and Luxor Temple. A big thank-you as well to our great driver, Mohamed Ramadan :) Highly recommended!

Fantastic guide in Luxor - Samhar, we could call her Summer 🌞 is an absolute must! We had an unforgettable time in Luxor, and that is in large part thanks to our wonderful guide, Summer. What an incredibly warm and cordial woman! From the moment we met her, we immediately felt at ease. Her English is really perfect; she speaks fluently and very clearly, which allowed us to follow everything in detail. What really sets Summer apart is her phenomenal knowledge. She knows so much about all the sites we visited, from the temples to the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. She not only told the facts, but really brought history to life with compelling stories and context. No question was too much for her. But most of all, she took fantastic care of us. She was attentive, took into account our pace, made sure we always had water in the heat and arranged everything perfectly. She is a guide who clearly does her job with heart and soul. A REVIEW OF OXEN OF EGYPT TOURS Through our many travels, my wife and I have learned that no matter how grand the destination, a superb tour guide will bring a destination to life and make a trip that much more memorable. Such a guide is Samar. Her warm, open personality (and humor) alone makes the tour thoroughly enjoyable. But it is her knowledge and presentation that elevate the excursion to a higher level. Her English is impeccable and full of nuance that makes the tour more intimate and less rote. Her mastery of Egyptian history is expansive, enthusiastic, and not only includes description and interpretation but a deep appreciation of the art. She was tour guide and art docent but quickly also became a friend to us both. Samar lives life enthusiastically and her joy is infectious. Samar guided us through the Luxor, Karnak, and Habu temples as well as the tombs in the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Nobles. She joined us as we cruised the Nile on a luxurious Dahabiya and visited the temples at Abydos, Dendera (not to be missed on any visit to Upper Egypt), and Kom Ombos. We stayed in a Nubian village at Abu Simbel, perhaps the most majestic of the ancient structures. Samar was thorough yet afforded us “free” time to do things on our own or relax. She negotiated with vendors to ensure that we bought souvenirs at a fair price. She enjoyed the delectable foods of Egypt with us at every meal, bringing her joie de vive to the occasion and ensuring that we fell in love with Egyptian cuisine. And she willingly discussed modern Egyptian life with the interested tourist. We highly recommend Samar as your tour guide in Egypt. And lucky will be the visitor who follows our recommendation.

I had an amazing time on this tour. We did so many fun things and everything was arranged perfectly. I have travelled a lot and Samar is my favorite person I’ve met traveling. Her English is perfect and She’s so friendly, knowledgeable, sweet, funny, and nice. I will miss Egypt and I will miss her.

I am a frequent visitor for Luxor and aswan but this tour was a whole new experience as samar our tour guide and mr mohamed were amazing and knowledgeable and i felt like im with my family and loved the treading of history and managing the tour it was very organised and safe best tour ever cant wait to get my family and friends with u next time to see how amazing egypt is
