Knowledgeable and charismatic.
WOW!! What an amazing place. Words cannot describe the pure awe of this place. My tour guide Miguel did a fantastic job telling the history of Machu Picchu. I highly recommend Miguel as a tour guide.

This was an excellent option for seeing Machu Picchu in a single day. It’s definitely a long day, but if you go in expecting that, the experience feels very smooth and well organised. We had Miguel as our guide, and he was outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable without overwhelming us with endless facts. He paced the tour beautifully — never rushed, with plenty of time for photos and to simply take everything in. At each stop he shared interesting insights, relevant history, and the occasional anecdote that really added to the experience. He’s also fantastic at taking photos and videos. He had our group expertly positioned for pictures and captured some wonderful memories for us along the way. You do need to expect crowds — Machu Picchu is busy — but the entire experience was handled very well from start to finish. Definitely request Circuit 2 passes if you can.

Everything was amazing from start to finish! We had a small issue with the tour tickets at first, but the agency quickly solved everything and was always available to help us, which made us feel very supported and safe throughout the experience. The guided tour in Machu Picchu with Miguel was absolutely spectacular! He made us truly feel the emotion, gratitude, and magic of being in such a historic and special place. Thanks to him, the experience became unforgettable. He went deep into the history, shared so much knowledge, took beautiful pictures for us, and kept us motivated and excited during the entire visit. While on vacation we chose a tour leaving Cusco to Machu Picchu. The collection from the hotel was smooth and efficient. We enjoyed the scenic drive followed by the restored train trip. At the entrance to the park we were greeted by friendly Miguel who led us up to circuit 1D with great views above the town. Along the way he shared interesting facts and stories about the Incas, where they developed their expertise in building and how they quickly abandoned the location. He took us to all the best locations for photos and he took spectacular photos. At the end of the trip he guided us to a local restaurant to recover before our journey back to Cusco. I would recommend Miguel for anyone's guide of Machu Picchu.
