I did trip from Dar es Salam to Mikumi. It was great experience. Our Safari driver was very professional and took care of everything for us. We had great sightings of almost all animals in Mikumi. Overall very happy.

We were a bit late with our booking, but it wasn’t a problem at all since the organizer was incredibly professional and clear in how everything was communicated and organized. We received the plan in advance and always knew what to expect. I would strongly recommend everyone to book through this organizer, whether you’re looking for a 2-day safari or a private safari. The guide was also excellent—very knowledgeable about Mikumi and genuinely committed to making sure we saw as many animals as possible. We were very lucky and got to see several lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and more. Since the safari was split into two parts, we felt like we got more out of it, as the two best times for safari are in the evening and morning. I would strongly recommend everyone to book through this organizer.

We booked a three-day safari through the Mikumi National Park and it was really unforgettable. Our Guide Steve did his absolute best to show us everything we wanted. The first tour took place in the evening after the transfer from Dar es Salaam and it was absolutely amazing. On the second day, we went all around the Park to see lions, elephants, hippos, giraffs and much more. Everything was perfectly organized, the transfers, overnight accommodation, meals and the trip in general. We say thank you to the whole team, especially to Steve, who was the best guide we could have imagined within these three wonderful days of safari.

Choosing from all the local safari agencies is complicated. Fahamu has been the good find thanks to guest reviews on TripAdvisor. Jastone is particularly responsive and has cooked up a great stay at Mikumi Park. Erick our guide was both discreet and very attentive to our wishes. We took our time to observe the animals in the park and even met 11 elephants. Thank you for the perfect organization, kindness and professionalism. The selected accommodation was also perfect, quiet. Thank you so much for understanding our wishes. We will keep an extraordinary memory of this safari. It is particularly worth mentioning that we received excellent advice and support from Teresa from start to finish. She was always available to answer our questions and also helped us with further tips for other activities on Zanzibar. The transfers were all punctual and friendly. The accommodation was in the middle of the wilderness, very nice staff, everything was clean and the food was very plentiful and typically African. Our guide Isaak accompanied us with his calm, friendly manner and his experience. Thanks to him we were able to see many animals and learn more about nature, the country and culture. Of course the journey to and from the national park and Dar es Salaam was exhausting and long, but we would gladly do it again.

Me and my family wanted to go to Mikumi from Zanzibar and we are very happy that we chose to go with Fahamu safaris. They were very professional from the beginning of our contact. Everything was arranged for us and we were picked up straight from our hotel and dropped off back there, we didn’t have to think of anything apart from enjoying. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we saw a lot of animals with him. The flight back to Zanzibar was also very nice suggestion after a long trip from Mikumi. Asante sana.

Perfect organisation and super friendly and professional guide. Accommodation could fit a honeymoon and the park is full of wild life and adventures. We enjoyed the trip so much and absolutely recommend it, but be prepared of quite a long ride to get there by car.

My family and I went on a four day safari with Fahamu Safari and had the best time of our lives. We really experienced memories for a lifetime. This was due to the fact that we had the best guide and driver we could ever hope for, Mr. Ole. He made our trip so special and we cannot thank him enough. We went to both Udzungwa and Mikumi national parks and out experience was fantastic from the moment we started, and we were so sad when it ended. We stayed at beautiful places and saw so many animals that I lost count, this including tons of lions, elephants, giraffs, zebras, hippos and impalas. Would go back in a heartbeat. We recommend this 1000%.
