Visited Varanasi several years ago, and had employed Cristoforo from the states to be my guide while there. Best decision I ever made in selecting a guide in a foreign city. Varanasi is an absolutely fascinating place in both its mystique, and its spirituality. I now know what it's like to experience both the rising, and setting sun on the Ganges river by boat. I've seen the rituals involved in the cremation of loved ones, on the Ganges concrete shores. The city is quite remarkable to say the least, and Cristoforo, really made it all that, with his expert knowledge of the community, and his wonderful down to Earth personality.
