My wife and I have just returned from an incredible 19-night escorted tour of Peru with Newmarket Holidays, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Our main tour guide, Eduardo, was outstanding and simply couldn’t be faulted. He is a genuinely kind, caring person who clearly wanted everyone in the group to experience the very best of Peru. From the smallest details, such as providing us with bottled water each day, to ensuring every part of our journey ran smoothly, nothing was ever too much trouble. Throughout the tour we visited Lima, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Chinchero, Moray, Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Machu Picchu, Cusco (including Coricancha, Sacsayhuamán and the Cathedral), Puno and the Uros Islands, Colca National Park, Chivay, Condor Cross and the beautiful White City of Arequipa. Despite travelling extensively around the country and moving from place to place almost every day, everything ran seamlessly. We had six internal flights during the trip, along with coaches, trains and boat journeys, and every transfer was exceptionally well organised. Hotel check-ins were effortless, our suitcases were always delivered to our rooms, boarding passes and travel documents were prepared for us, and all entrance tickets were ready whenever we arrived at each attraction. We never had to worry about the logistics, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy every destination. We also made a last-minute decision to travel from Cusco to Puno on the PeruRail Titicaca Train instead of taking the coach. Eduardo arranged everything for us at very short notice, including helping us purchase the tickets, making the whole process completely stress-free. During the trip, my wife’s suitcase unfortunately lost a wheel while travelling around Peru. Once again, Eduardo went above and beyond by arranging for it to be repaired and returned to us before we departed the following morning. It was a perfect example of the exceptional level of care he showed throughout the holiday. After two weeks, we said goodbye to the main group as my wife and I continued our adventure with a four-night stay in the Amazon Rainforest. Even though our escorted tour had officially ended, Eduardo remained in contact with us throughout this part of our trip. He organised our private transfer to the airport, which again ran perfectly smoothly, and made sure everything was in place. When we returned from the Amazon, there was some confusion regarding our hotel room booking, but after a brief conversation with Eduardo, he resolved the issue almost immediately. The fact that he continued to look after us even after we had left the main group says so much about his dedication and genuine care for his guests. What impressed us most was Eduardo’s incredible knowledge. There genuinely wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer. Whether it was about Peru’s history, culture, wildlife, geography or everyday life, his knowledge was exceptional. He shared it with genuine enthusiasm and passion, bringing every destination to life and making every journey and stop even more fascinating. Eduardo’s professionalism, organisation, attention to detail and genuine passion for his country transformed what was already an amazing itinerary into a truly unforgettable holiday. Everything ran like clockwork from start to finish, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience without having to worry about a thing. If you’re considering this Newmarket Holidays tour of Peru, don’t hesitate. You’ll experience one of the most beautiful countries in the world, with an outstanding guide looking after you every step of the way. Really enjoyed our trip to condor cross, we hadn’t loooked at all of the itinerary so this was an unexpected treat. Glad we headed out early we were there before the masses so got an amazing view of then, not bad as I’m scared of heights and birds. Fernando is an outstanding guide and is very knowledgeable. He was very helpful when I was unwell. Our Driver John was also excellent.

We were caught up in the Macchu Pinchu rail line disputes It was very scary but our wonderful guides got us through and we were able to maintain our itinery I can't speak highly enough of our guides (especially Edwardo). Bk

Willington Calderon led the group of 28 from being picked up at Lima Airport 23/05/25 and Lima tour, then flight to Cusco and city tour, Machu Picchu helping me with altitude sickness throughout, Inca Trail, Lake Titicaca, Condor Valley, Arequipa and back to Lima and at each place ensured all and their luggage safely arrived and that any issues with accommodation were quickly resolved. Willington Calderon is excellent at his work and thorough yet calm as a professional tour guide. Highly recommended.

Sergio was our guide from Arequipa to Colca Canyon and shared volcanoes, the Stone Forest, wild llamas & alpacas & a natural hot spring before taking a small group to see the condors. We first spotted a juvenile perched on some rocks then 6 flying together overhead. He was fun and we had a great experience !

We had good weather, excellent tour guides, who gave us plenty of time explore and to take of photos. The guides were very helpful with their details knowledge about the area.

Just an amazing trip. Valencia Travel partnered with our Wendy Wu tour and provided a great excursion, which started in our transfer from Puno to Arequipa via the Colca Canyon and Condor viewing. Our guide for this section was Mirnis, who being from the region and Arequipa had a great insight into the wildlife,geology and people. Our driver was also brilliant being very safe but also alert to potential photo opportunities for Vicuna, Alpacas, Flamingos and of course the mighty Condors. Mirnis also accompanied our small group on a 45min walk through the canyon where we sighted more condors at close range and humming birds. The final day provided a great tour of the old town of Arequipa, which reflected the various influences on the city over its history.

I highlight the service, organization and support, an excellent service from the guide, very prepared and dedicated to the work, as well as the drivers, the chef and all the support staff. All very polite and attentive people, truly exceeding the client's expectations. Highly recommended for those who want to travel to Peru, especially Cusco. Thank you Condor team peru!!

We were lucky enough to have Mirna as our excellent tour guide. Her enthusiasm and extensive knowledge, especially with altitude sickness was essential in making our trip with her unforgettable. She knew the best times to do everything and had a lovely personality. The driver, Jose Luis, also had extensive knowledge of the terrain and we felt in safe hands with his expert driving.
