Our experience was disappointing and valuable lessons learned. We chose the Vesuvius tour and you need to buy the Vesuvius tickets prior to booking your tour. We were unable to buy any online and the tour operator communicated we could purchase them day of. The reason why we couldn’t buy them prior was there was a marathon and no cars were allowed past a certain point and they were not selling any tickets that day. None of that was communicated online or to the tour operator. The driver was very apologetic and tried to help us go somewhere else but it was very disappointing. Buy your Vesuvius tickets first, then arrange your private transportation.

Really smooth and easy process! Transferred from amalfi to naples airport. Driver was there on time. easy to get in touch with them too.
