Staff is very attentive, polite and punctual. Too many people. I’d suggest less activities with more time at each with the guide. Not suitable for older people.

Meteora Marvels
Fabulous tour. So pleased I chose to be guided. Learned so much about the history and area. Our guides were excellent and so knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble.

Kostas our guide, second to none !
Such a wonderful experience, and I’m so glad we got Kosta’s Tsioumas as our guide. It didn’t take long for me to realize that understanding of Meteora, art, and history is second to none. There wasn’t a single question of mine that went unanswered. Thank you so much Kosta, and hope to be back soon!

Great Meteora experience
Booked online with Mereoratrip.com just 3 days before trip. Everything was just great. Comfortable busses, excellent guides, very nice hotel with very good breakfast. Exceptional value for the money. Customer service is fast and can help with all needs right away. Defenetly will recommend instead of driving car if you not traveling in that direction. Happy we did this choice.

I completely recommend it.
Great experience, even at the beginning of the tour there was some confusion on our part and theirs, and they took care of fixing it. We felt very comfortable and grateful, we visited and made many stops to see the monasteries from different angles. The guides are well-informed and pleasant. I learned and enjoyed a lot. We did the 2-day tour, it is definitely worth it! I recommend it to everyone who is interested; with Meteoratrip, you only need to worry about enjoying!

Poor pick up and drop of organization.
Visiting the Meteora Monasteries was a 5 Star event.
The 3 Star rating is reflective of the organization which left much to be desired. We arrived at the meeting location by taxi. Several large tour buses arrived parked along both sides of a wide boulevard. There was no tour guide to direct us to which bus to board. It was necessary to check in with each driver to see if our names were on the list. Arriving in the Meteora area the bus driver dropped people at various hotels. We were 2 of the last 2 passengers to be dropped off. The driver was about to get back on the bus to leave when I had to ask which was our hotel as there were several. He looked at me like I was crazy until I showed him that none of the paperwork Viator had provided to me listed a hotel. It was only then he looked at his list to find our names and hotel.
The local guides were very knowledgeable

Great tour
I loved it. Definitely choose 2 days instead of 1. The hotel was lovely. Check the weather though, it was foggy, still awesome, though

Highly recommend this for a more boutique experience.
Highly recommend this company. We did the 2 day Meteora trip staying overnight in Kalambanka. I must admit we were a bit worried when we arrived at the station in Athens to go on the trip....so many buses and so many people...but the Meteora Trip bus was smaller than the others, super comfortable and a great safe driver.
Hotel accommodation was great, as were the tours we did. We were hoping to do the hike but this was cancelled due to the weather...it rained all day. Because of the rain and diminished visibility our guides adapted the itinerary to ensure we got the most viewing possible.
Very happy we booked with Meteora Trips and highly recommend them...also glad we did the 2 day trip as the monasteries were not as hectic in the mornings before the day trippers arrive.
