チャオプラヤー川のトンブリー側、クロンバンルアン（バンルアン運河）ののどかなほとりにひっそりと佇む、バンコクの隠れた名所のひとつ 、 「 時が遅くなるような魅力的な川沿いのコミュニティ 」 。 この歴史的な界隈は、伝統的な木造家屋、地元の小さな商店、家族経営のギャラリーで構成され、運河の端に続く木製の歩道で結ばれている。 コンクリートとガラスが街を覆うずっと前のバンコクの日常を垣間見ることのできる貴重なスポットです。 コミュニティの中心にあるのは、200年以上前の木造家屋を美しく修復したバーン・シラピン（Baan Silapin ） 、 通称「芸術家の家」です。 タイ文化の保存と祝福に尽力するこの家は、回転する美術展や手作りの工芸品を楽しめる小さなアートセンターとして機能している。 周辺を散策していると、小さなお店や川沿いの居心地の良いカフェ、何世代にもわたって住み続けているフレンドリーな地元の人たちと出会えます。 停車時間30分～40分。
トンブリーの運河をクルーズしながら、アユタヤ時代中期に創建された歴史ある寺院、ワット・パークナム・パーシーチャルーンの横を通ります。 パーシーチャルーン地区にあるこの寺院は、古くから仏教の学問と瞑想の中心地であった。 しかし現在では、周囲の屋根の上に劇的にそびえ立ち、街中の遠くからも見える巨大な坐仏像で最もよく知られている。 ボートはここで一旦休止し、畏敬の念を抱かせるこの像を水中から眺めたり、写真を撮ったりすることができます。 高さは20階建てビルに匹敵する70メートル近く、根元の幅は40メートルあり、バンコクで最も高い仏像である。 きらめくゴールドの色調で鋳造されたこの像は、落ち着いた瞑想姿勢で座り、スカイラインと顕著なコントラストを見せている。 寺院で下船することはありませんが、運河の静けさからこの巨像を眺めると、本当にユニークで思い出に残る視点が得られます。

- バンコクの交通渋滞が頻繁に発生する場所を避け、待ち合わせ場所まで行くにはMRT（地下鉄）のサナームチャイ駅を利用するのが最も便利です。 そこから'Museum Siam'出口を出ます。 待ち合わせ場所は駅から徒歩5分とすぐ。

- バンコクの交通は大渋滞する可能性があります。 当社のツアーはグループ制のため、集合予定時間後、最大10分程度お待ちいただけます。 この猶予期間を過ぎると、ガイドがツアーを開始します。 時間に間に合わない場合は、ツアー開始前にお知らせください。 可能な場合は、次の予約可能な時間帯や曜日に変更できるよう最善を尽くしますが、変更手数料がかかります。 到着が遅れた場合でも返金はいたしません。
- ツアー開始時間の24時間前までのキャンセルは全額返金対象となります。 24時間未満のキャンセルの場合、または不参加の場合、返金はされません。
- タイの熱帯雨は通常長続きしないため、ツアーは雨天決行となります。 雨が強まった場合は避難場所を探すようにしており、天候が回復し次第継続する。 梅雨の時期には、レインコートやポンチョを持っていくと安心です。 天候によるキャンセルは返金の対象となりませんのでご注意ください。
- 桟橋に階段がないため、ボートの乗降が困難な場合があるため、移動に問題のある旅行者にはお勧めできません。

Nice way to see many sites along the canal. It was interesting to review the contrast of temples and Buddhist statues along with the personal residences on the canal. We also stopped at one location to walk around and see some of the sites there.
