We had a great private tour. Carlos picked us up from the hotel and was so friendly. He suggested things for us to do and pointed out local spots while driving and sharing stories. Alex was our host and he was great. He led us on a tour and talked us through the process of making tequila. The tasting was amazing the chocolates were delicious! It was a beautiful property and relaxing afternoon. Would highly recommend.
The visit to Finca 18 was wonderful! Alex and Emily were both wonderful guides and we learned a lot about the agave growing and tequila distilling processing. The tasting and chocolate pairing were wonderful and a great value.
This was the best tour I've taken. We had their driver - Carlos pick us up from PV. He was friendly and chatted with us the entire ride. Finca 18 is beautiful. The tasting room/distillery was massive and gave us an excellent location to 1st learn, see and then sip. Alex, our host was amazing: he was extremely knowledgeable about the entire tequila making process. He was alot of fun to learn from. And then the sipping. That was also a great time. Each tequila was sipped from a different vessel and paired with chocolates, allowing you to experience different aspects. I love that each tequila had it's own story - even sad ones. This place could have been a retreat on its own. And Luna & Chino - you've got to go pet them. I have a lot of pictures, but don't want to ruin the experience for someone else.
The Finca 18 tequila tour was amazing and educational. Our tour guide Alex was awesome and explained the process of making tequila easy to understand. The tequila tasting and chocolate pairing was clearly explained. Will definitely recommend
This tequila tour and tasting was fabulous!! The finca grounds are absolutely stunning as soon as you drive in. Our table was set and ready for us with beautiful, traditional glassware. Our tour guide Alex was so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. His passion for the tequila making process and finca lifestyle is so lovely and endearing. He is truly bilingual and did an outstanding job giving our tour in English so everyone in our group could understand. We all came away with a deeper understanding of the process of making an agave distillate, the aging process and each of the spirits we tasted were amazing! We also LOVED the fine chocolate pairings, we are chocolate lovers and have never had any chocolates like the ones presented in the tasting. We had a great time tasting the tequilas and combining them with the chocolates. 11/10 experience. Thank you Finca 18!!
Fina 18 was such an amazing experience! My husband and I were visiting the area and had always wanted to do a true agave spirits tour, not just a tasting, but an actual tour where we could learn about the process from start to finish. Fina 18 absolutely did not disappoint; it was even better than we expected! The farm was beautiful, and we loved getting to experience the farm while learning so much about agave spirits and the many different forms they can take. We enjoyed welcome drinks and tastings with a chocolate pairing, which was such a fun touch! Our guide happened to be Greg, the distiller himself, and what a treat it was to spend the day learning from him. His knowledge and passion really made the experience special. Everyone at Fina 18 was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even helped us arrange transportation back to our hotel. That level of hospitality really stood out. We would definitely recommend Fina 18 to anyone interested in learning more about agave spirits, experiencing a beautiful farm, and getting away from the city for a memorable day. We left feeling like we had learned so much and had an incredible experience along the way!
Top experience with host Alex, who managed to tell us all about the production, the history and gave the best tasting. They can still do so much with that location, help them further by visiting them.
Fantastic tour and dialog. The chocolate pairings with the agave spirits were legit game-changers. ¿Pechuga? Sooo tasty. Alex, or guide and agave docent for the day was engaging and knowledgeable. He makes things fun. Carlos, our driver had cool stories about the areas we drove through on the way and was an excellent driver. Friends of ours who had visited Finca 18 previously told us "this is the one" (agave spirits tour to take). Now I'm letting you know, this is the one!
